Jason
I mean she's coming, there's nothing to be scared about. It's not like your still in love with her, because your not. I mean, I'm not. I can't go through this again, and at this point she can't get hurt again. I care about her too much to do that to her. A few hours past since I last talked to her, she said she was on her way which means she should be here soon. Then there was a knock on the door.

Go in, it'll be okay. Nothing's going to be bad, at least it seemed that way. Maybe he doesn't even want to see me, I wouldn't. I feel like I ruined his life somehow, that if I wasn't even in it, things would be better for him. He opens the door and he slightly grins. "Hey." He says as he opens the door wider. "Hey." I replied back. He started to clear his throat, "So, what happened with the detective?" He asked with his arms covering his chest. "Their still looking for you, he came today asking me questions if I knew where you were and other things." I replied. "They're gonna send me back to jail again, aren't they? Aren't they!" He said getting aggravated. "No, he said they want to help you." I replied. "With what?" He said snapping back at me. "With your DID." I said furiously. I was getting annoyed, he was being hard headed as usual that was one thing I didn't miss about him. "How did you know about that?" He asked with his hands over his face.
"The detective-" I said.
"Told me-, Told you-" We said together.
I sighed, "Why don't you want their help?" I asked curiously. "Because Avery, they don't help. The never do, and never will." He responded. "What happened to never saying never?" I asked. "It doesn't work that way anymore, things have changed." He replied. "I'm not gonna sit here and watch you get upset about people who care about you, Jason!" I shrieked. "Who cares about me Avery! You think those assholes do? Cause they sure as hell don't." He replied getting upset. Kiss him, maybe that'll make things better. Fuck, no. I bite down on my lip to relieve the anxiety I was feeling. "Do you know what it feels like, to have no one care about you. And not even knowing your real parents or remembering them?" He asked me. I shook my head, sadly this time I didn't know what it felt like. "But then you came along." He said as he began to speak again. I slightly turned my head to look at him. "But then, you broke up with me and I felt that I couldn't do anything else for you. I believed you didn't need me, you've already went through so much, I felt that I was bringing that right back to you." He added. "-I wanted to come back to Las Vegas, I did, but-" He said when I cut him off, "I know, you couldn't. You had to protect me." I replied. He sighed, "But I don't need you to protect me, not now." I replied as he phone buzzed. "Hold on a sec." He said looking at his phone.

I cleared my throat. "Um, I need to meet up with somebody right now. Can you stay here for awhile?" I asked as I looked at her, "Actually, I should be heading back now." She replied as she got up and placed her bag on her shoulder. "Oh." I said disappointed. "Um, we'll talk soon. Okay?" She said softly and headed for the door. "Oh, yeah. For sure." I replied, "Alright, bye." She said walking out as I said "Bye." and closed the door on her way out.

"I guess, I'll just go with you." I muttered as I walked back to my car and waited for Jason to come out so I can follow him. I didn't know what he was up to, but it was something.
