Our punishment was gone thanks to that note. I was so happy that I danced. Mabel smiled. We were no longer in trouble. However, Mrs. Fenton seemed ticked. "How dare he? Does he really think that I'm gonna trust him with my son?" she muttered. Mr. Fenton said, "Vladdie is gonna make sure Danny's alive! Of course he would take care of him! He's Danny's uncle for crying out loud!"
Wait... Vlad Masters is Danny Fenton's uncle?!
Mabel looked at me the same way. "He is? As in, Mayor Vlad of Amity Park is Danny's uncle?" she asked. Jazz nodded. "I don't know how, but he is. And dad trusts him completely," she replied. "Also, Vlad is dad's closest friend. They knew each other from highschool or college." She smiled weakly. "If my dad trusts him, so do I."
*An hour later*
I was desperate to know if Danny was alright. I don't trust Vlad one bit. That note sounded too convincing. Of course, it did get us outta trouble...
Yeah. Danny's fine.
Right?
I looked at Mabel. "Do you trust Vlad?"
Mabel nodded. "He got us outta trouble with that note, he is Danny's uncle, Danny's paretns trust him, so why not?"
