We carry Derek from the Jeep onto the table in the clinic. "Wow." Deaton says. "Wow? Wow as in 'I've seen this before and know exactly what to do' kind of wow? Cause that's the kind of wow we were hoping for." Stiles rambles.
"I think you might be overestimating my abilities." Deaton says. "He's cold. Really cold." Lydia states grabbing his hand. "Do you think this is permanent?" Scott asks. "I'm not sure a medical diagnosis is even adequate. This is well beyond my experience." Deaton replies.
"So what do we do with him?" Stiles questions. "Until he wakes up? Probably not much. It might be best to leave him with me. He'll be safe here." Deaton answers. "You mean from Kate?" I ask.
"If she's alive and she is what you say she is, she won't be able to walk past that gate." Deaton replies. "Why would she want to do this to him?" Lydia questions. "Knowing Kate, it's probably for a reason that won't be an good for anyone but her." Deaton states.
"And bad for everyone else." Stiles scoffs. "You guys should probably go home. He doesn't look to be in any danger. So maybe the rest of you should get some sleep? It's a school night and you all need to start taking care of your own lives again." Deaton says.
"Someone should stay with you." Scott states. "I'll stay. My grades are fine despite missing a few classes." Lydia volunteers. "I'm so not okay with this." Stiles says. "Guys go." Lydia instructs. "Text us if anything happens." Scott says.
"Nope. Still not okay with it. Not going anywhere." Stiles insists. "Come on Stiles." I say dragging him by the arm. "Alright, just cause you're stronger." Stiles replies. "We're actually going to get some sleep. I've been waiting for this." I state.
I flop down into Stiles' bed ready to get a few solid hours of shuteye. "Why do you always leave your pants on my floor?" Stiles questions. "I'll pick them up in the morning. Just sleep." I reply. "Also why is taking off your pants the first thing you do when you get in here?" Stiles asks.
I don't respond. He starts poking me and I open one eye to glare at him. "Because pants are evil but also a requirement in civilization. If I had it my way, I would never wear pants again." I state. "I wouldn't object to that." Stiles comments.
"Could your mind be any further in the gutter?" I question hitting him with my pillow. "Probably not." Stiles answers. "Now let me sleep or I will punch you out." I threaten. "Yes m'am." Stiles mutters.
Lately Stiles has always been the little spoon. I think it has something to do with me being more protective over him after I got him back. I don't think he minds though. We both fall asleep easily.
When Stiles' alarm goes off I get out of bed without opening my eyes. I trip over something and fall straight on my face. "Malia! I told you to sleep at the end of the bed when you can't sleep for a reason." I state.
"Sorry." Malia replies. Stiles gets out of bed and stretches. "You drooled on my neck." Stiles complains wiping his neck. "My face was right next to your carotid, just be lucky I didn't bite you." I state. "Whatever, let's just go to school." Stiles sighs.
When we get to school, Stiles and I split up to go to our lockers. When I find him again, he's with Scott flashing the marks that I might have accidentally given him. "Right on right?" Stiles jokes. Scott sees me and tries his best to contain his laughter.
"You did that to him?" Scott questions. "Okay, I get it, nothing in our relationship is sacred. Also what did you expect sleeping with a girl who has actual claws? Scott you probably know how hard it is to control yourself in that situation." I defend.
"Nope, not talking about this with you." Scott says and walks to History. "Stiles, if you have such a problem with it, then we could always stop having sex." I state. "No! No let's never do that. I'll never complain again." Stiles panics.
