Chapter Nine: Partings and snuggles

Aarons Pov

I looked over to see the girls standing confused on the porch step. Eddie was softly crying into my shoulder. I looked down and the ground and sighed. Eddie was in no condition to tell them. “Hannah got in a car accident and is pretty severely hurt. But Eddie can’t go see her till Wednesday.” I said in a soft voice well rubbing Eddie’s neck.

Amanda and Sam looked shocked and covered their mouths, jaw sprung open. Amanda rushed over the other side of me and squeezed Eddie’s hand. Sam sat next to me, leaning on my shoulder. We sat there for an hour till we thought we should go inside. Eddie was still devastated and he clung onto Amanda tightly as they walked in. the whole cast looked startled as they saw Eddie in full on tear load and bright red. Amanda and I were supporting him cause Amanda is about as weak as it gets. I quietly filled the cast in on what was going on. Eddie had told me her and Amanda had gotten into a big fight. I'm guessing they put that on hold for a minute.

“Hey Eddie? Why don’t you take our room yourself tonight. Dan and I always wanted to camp out. Amanda said she had a tent she probably never even took out of the bag…” Amanda rolled her eyes and nodded to Eddie. He wasn’t very talkative but as we went about getting ready for bed, Amanda, Sam and I were all leaving when Eddie pulled Amanda back to stay. I grinned secretly at the two as they snuggled down  into the sheets. Sammy hugged me and kissed my cheek goodnight. I smiled at her and stroked her hair before returning the deed. I grabbed Dan and we trekked out into Amanda’s yard.

Amanda’s Pov

I saw how upset Eddie was even as we crawled in bed. he wrapped his arm around my body and snuggled down beside him. “Hey Eddie?” I whispered out. “Hmmm?”

“It will be ok. We will get you to London and Hannah will be ok. You two mean the world to each other and your one of the lucky ones who found your soul mate.

“The thing is Manda…. She is mad at me.”

“Awe! Why would anyone be mad at you?” I asked turning to him.

“Well because I think I am in love with you sometimes. I care so much about you and Hannah doesn’t like our friendship….”

“Oh…. Eddie….. I like you too but Hannah needs you more right now…. You will get to London and then you and Hannah can see each other. I think it is just hard sometimes to do a long distance thing.” Eddie kissed my head and we both dozed off.

I woke up early the morning Aaron would be leaving. Tip toeing into the kitchen to not wake the others, I made the boys some hot chocolate and coffee for their accomplishment and probably backaches.

“Daniel? Aaron?” I asked from outside the tent, juggling three mugs of steaming out drinks. The tent zipper unzipped and Daniel smiled his goofy grin at me. “Hey you little monkey! Move over!” I carefully stepped into the tent and snuggled down between the boys. Aaron smiled at me as we drank coffee and talked with Daniel about his new movie.

“I can’t believe I am leaving today….” Aaron mumbled. I frowned and leaned onto his shoulder as he wrapped a warm arm around me. Daniel stared at the ground and sighed. “I’ll miss you mate. Then Eddie will leave! My two bros of the barricade! Gone!” Daniel exclaimed. We laughed at the kid and snuggled deeper into the sleeping bags and blankets. Daniel went back to sleep about ten minutes later, so Aaron and I quietly snuck out into the house to make a breakfast.

Soon a groggy Eddie and Anne joined us making French toast. Sam walked in carrying Issy who was almost asleep on Sam. Eddie laughed at the little girl and took her from Sammy. He carried her to the couch were they cuddled up under the blanket. Eddie was pretty quiet and sad all morning during our breakfast.

“Hey! Aaron and Sam and I are going out for lunch. Want to come?” I asked, walking into his room. Eddie smiled at me and pulled me into a hug. “Thanks for everything Amanda. Your truly the bests friend ever. Yeah sure! Let me get dressed!” I nodded and left Eddie well I put on some shorts and a white cream lace shirt.

“Ready to go?” Sam called by the door. Aaron and I nodded and Eddie ambled out of the room. We had about two hours before Aaron had to be at the airport and we would make the most of every minute spent with him. We first walked around L.A for a bit but soon we sat down at a lovely little bistro. As we ate we talked about memories we had shared with Aaron and inside joked that he had caused. By the end of lunch all I wanted to do was just hug the life out of that boy. I could tell Eddie had cheered up a bit too. But I had promised him we could do something tonight together with Sam sense she wouldn’t have Aaron to be with. Way to soon I found myself In the car with Aaron and Sam driving to the airport. The rest of the cast had said goodbye already. We slowly got out of the car to try and make it drain on, and on. Sam flung herself onto him. I calmly leaned agents the car and watched them embrace. Poor Sammy…. The man  she loved, worlds away. Sam let go with tears in her eyes and Aaron pulled me over to him. “I’ll miss you so much little Tveit! I know I will see your name in lights though. Come back and visit if you can!” I whispered into his ear as we gave each other a big bear hug. “Awe! I will miss you so much Amanda! Take care of Sammy, and Eddie ok? And about Eddie…. Ah never mind. He will tell you….”

“What Aaron?” I asked puzzled. Aaron shrugged it off and sighed. I wrinkled my eyebrows and shook it off. He kissed  my cheek and all to soon he had disappeared behind the doors.

“I don’t even know what to do now….” Sam mumbled on the drive home. I held her hand tight. “You will be ok Sam. Aaron loves you too much! You will stay in contact!”

There was a long silence. Finally Sam spook in a tiny voice. “He never said he loved me…. Not once.” I felt so bad for her all I could do was give her words of wisdom from Dr. Seyfried. “Sometimes people don’t know when to say it. But sometimes they will tell you in other ways and I think he does love you. He might just not be one to say it…” I finished. Sam nodded as we drove home. it was really quiet and slightly depressing as we opened the front door to my house. Eddie was devastated, Aaron was gone. Hugh, Anne, and Issy and Daniel were trying to get the moods uplifted but failing a lot. We had a mellow quiet night of sitting around by my fire place. I was sitting between Sam who needed comforting and Eddie…. All was quiet. So we decided to just go to bed. Daniel went back into his shared room with Eddie but before we went to bed Eddie pulled me aside from the others out onto the front porch.

“Um… Amanda? Will you go to London with me?” I gasped and nodded slowly. “Are you sure? I don’t know if Hannah will like that….”

“Please! I need some support and you love London. Please come with me. I don’t suppose we will be too long. Hugh and Anne and Russell and Sam can hold down the fort….” I stared off at the cobwebs and sighed. “OK. I’ll go to London with you, Redmayne…. Your right. I would miss you too damn much to stay.” Eddie grinned and led me inside to bed.

Sam's Pov

The next morning I slept in a little bit and everyone but Amanda and Russell were already up. I trudged into the living room and sat on the couch, reading my twitter account and Aarons. Suddenly the over the loud grinned of the coffee maker, and the hum of the washing machine, we heard a knock at the door. I raised my eyebrow and looked up. “Now who could that be?” Annie asked.
