Chapter 3: Eversource?

I'm glad I was able to update this so soon! I appreciate everyone who is reading this fanfic thus far and I hope you guys enjoy this chapter. Once again, spoiler alert to the people who have not yet played episode 5.

"It's about this weird run-in I had, with Aiden."

"Oh, great" Jesse said, rolling his eyes. "And what did he have to say?" Jesse asked. "He said that you stole his glory, claiming that he was supposed to be the hero." Lukas responded, quite fast. "Your right he did" Jesse said. "He says that you steal all the world's treasures and hoard them for yourself." Jesse looked down, feeling bad. "I think he's right. We kinda have been taking everything for ourselves." "What did you find that got Aiden so excited anyway?" Lukas asked. "Oh, I don't have it. I gave it to Petra before I left to get sand. I'm supposed to show it to-"

"What are you doing outside, Jesse? I thought I said 'treasure room, ten minutes!'" Ivor said as he approached the two. "Sorry Ivor, but Petra has the flint & steel" Jesse answered. "Yes, I'm aware of that!" Ivor replied. "I asked Petra if I could see the flint & steel, but as you can tell, she didn't want me to." "What do you think the flint & steel can do?" Jesse asked Ivor. "I'm not sure Jesse, but that flint & steel resembles a group of old builders, so old that they existed before the order of the stone!" Ivor exclaimed. "Wow, before the order?" Lukas questioned. "You think the old builders built that temple?" Jesse asked. "That's precisely what I'm thinking! You see, if these old builders were responsible in constructing that temple and creating that flint & steel, it means we're one step closer to finding "The Eversource!"" Ivor said enthusiastically.

"The what?" Lukas and Jesse said at the same time. "The Eversource." Ivor repeated. "Are you going to explain it any more than that?" Lukas asked. "The Eversource was said to be an object of incredible power, possessed by the old builders. It gave them endless amounts of precious materials! Think about it, Jesse!" Ivor explained. "Wow, sounds like you guys have a lot to get to. I guess I'll take off?" Lukas told Jesse. "There's still a lot of rebuilding to do." Jesse understood. "Okay, take care, Lukas!" Jesse waved as Lukas headed off. "Let's go find the others" Jesse said and Ivor nodded.

"Whenever Jesse comes back, that's when we make our move." Petra said menacingly as she discussed her plan with Axel and Olivia. "And then he'll be left with no one like the loser he is." Petra finished with a chuckle. "Okay, but how will we know when he's coming?" Olivia asked her. "There he is." said Axel, pointing to Jesse and Ivor entering the treasure room. "Alright everyone, ready?" Petra asked. "I can't wait!" Axel jumped in excitement.

When Jesse and Ivor entered the treasure room, the first thing they saw was Petra, Olivia and Axel whispering to each other. "Hey guys!" Jesse said as he happily approached his friends. "Hey" was all that came out of Axel. Petra glared at Ivor while holding the glowing flint & steel. "I hope you didn't come back to ask me for this again. I won't let your slimy hands get ahold of it." Jesse looked at Petra with confusion. "Why are you being so hard on him, Petra?" "Hello, Jesse? Have you forgotten about the wither storm? He kinda has a history of being a world-scale pain in the butt." Petra responded while gritting her teeth. "I'm not wasting any more time! I'm not going to bother telling you about the Eversource!" Ivor yelled and walked away and left the treasure room. "What was that all about, Petra?" Jesse asked her but Petra had her thoughts on what Ivor just said.

"Eversource?" was all Petra could say. "Sounds like a cool treasure!" Axel said excitedly. "Yeah, according to Ivor, it's a treasure that allows the user to have unlimited materials. Apparently, the Eversource is linked to a group of old builders who built that temple and made that flint and steel!" Jesse explained. "Unlimited materials? Interesting." Petra smirked. "Yeah, that sounds awesome! I'm totally in." Olivia stated with glee. "Me too!" yelled Axel. "Well gang, let's hit the road!" Jesse said, he was ready to go on another adventure until...

"Sorry, Jesse. But we're hitting the road, not you." Petra said in a threatening tone.

"What?"
