Chapter 3

One month later

Nicki POV

"Dr. Maraj thank you soooo much. My new boobs are perfect" one of my patients says looking in the mirror. "No problem sweetie. I'm going to wrap you back up because of the swelling they still have. Continue to do as I say and in about a week they'll look even better" I say wrapping her up. "Ok you're all set" I say taking my gloves off. "Thank youuuuuu and congrats by the way. Your ring is huge. What happened to your wrist?" She asked as I pulled my sleeves down covering them.

"Oh um I...um I had these bracelets that were really hard to get off, no biggie. But you my dear have a nice day" I say walking to the door and walking her to the front. I then walked in my office sitting down putting my head in my hands. I have got cover those up before meek gets here for jaylen birthday party next week. Since it's June I decided to have his party at the house. I got to go get a big blow up pool for him and his friends this week. I looked up to a knock on my door and my mother coming in with jay. "Oh my goodness heeeeeeeey my baby" I say as she walked over bringing him to me. He was quiet and didn't speak as my mother went and sat down. "They called me telling me he was running a fever so I went and got him. He just took some fever medicine but wanted you so now we're here." She says as jay rested his head on my shoulder.

"I got to be back at work too but I'll take the rest of the day off" she says as I shook my head. "No you go on ahead I'll take the rest of the day off" I say shutting my MacBook. "Ok. Bye jay jay hope you feel better" she says walking over kissing his forehead. "Bye momma, I'll call you" I say as she hugged me walking out. "Alright baby boy lets go home" I say grabbing my purse and his book bag. As I got him in the car Jarvis texted me saying he'd be home late like always. I shook my head getting in going home.

Later that day.

"Hello" I say answering jaylens iPad. "Oh hey I wasn't expecting you Nic wassup. Where's jay" meek says looking around as I held the iPad down on jaylen. "Oh he tired or something" he ask as I shook my head no. "He's sick. My mom went and got him earlier from school because she said they called her saying he had a fever. Then they came up to my job and I decided to take the rest of the day off to be with him cause you know he's a total momma's boy when he's sick" I say giggling softly as he smiled shaking his head. "I am too which is why when I got sick I'd be all up under you and shit" he says as I smiled thinking about the good times we shared. "Hey hold up real quick" I say getting up walking out jaylens room going into my room.

"Alright I'm back" I say sitting down on the bed looking into the screen. "Damn ma. titties bouncing and shit in the camera" he says licking his lips as I rolled my eyes smiling. "PERV" I say as he chuckled. "Why yo wrists look purple" he asked as I quickly rolled my sleeves down. "Oh uhhh I had these bracelets that were hard to come off no biggie" I say as he stared at me knowing I'm lying. "iight ma. I'll believe it this time since I'm in Miami but when I come up there next week for jays birthday party I'll find out cause it seems like you've been hiding shit from me and I don't appreciate it" he says sternly as I fanned him off.

"Ok. But look I'm about to take a nap too with jaylen" I say as he sat up, "ok then when you get sick who's going to take care of you cause I know that pussy ass nigga of yours isn't" he says which is the truth. I take care of everyone around here and don't get the same in return. "Bye Rihmeek" I say ending the call before he could say anything. I then went back in the room with jay getting in bed cuddling him combing through his hair with my fingers until I soon went to sleep.
