Chapter 12

Nicki POV

"Jay don't get to close to the water baby" I yell out as he smiled at me nodding his head. "So you and baby daddy looking jolly, are y'all a thing now or????" Melissa asks sipping her drink as I rolled my eyes. "NO we're not. We JustHadSexMyFirstNightHereThatsAll" I say quickly sipping my drink as candi's eyes grew. "BITCH YOU DID WHAT NOW!?" Titi screams as hushed her. "Why must you be so gawtDAMN loud T damn! And yes we fucked. It's been so long and since he got me in da mood I let him have it" I say sitting back. "Bitch what you mean it could've been better? You always talking about how good he put it down and shit so what's the issue now?" Candi asks as I sat back. "Do y'all see my ass walking with a limp? Exactly" I say shrugging my shoulders. "I..... I don't know I mean it was good but it wasn't...." I say getting cut off by Melissa. "It wasn't how it used to be" she says as I nodded my head.

"RIGHT! When we were together sex was LIT with him especially when he would be aggressive with me but now.... I don't know it seemed a bit off" I say looking out at jay building a sand castle. "Well maybe it's because y'all been apart for so long and you need to let that hurt go. That's why you can't enjoy it. On top of that y'all not even together so maybe he didn't want to give his all and end up with nothing in the end." Melissa says as I sat back taking everything in. Yes she's right. I couldn't help but think to the time he cheated on me. Seeing her bouncing up and down on something that was mines, something that was apart of me that she took with her when they decided to fuck each other.

Tears began to fill my eyes when suddenly I was knocked out of my thoughts by jaylen calling me. "Mommy mommy mommy come look" he yells as I stood up. "Ok baby here I come" I say placing my glass down walking over to him. "What is it baby boy?" I ask as he pulled me down making me sit on my knees. "It's a sand castle. Me, you, daddy, and camryn live in it." He says as I wiped the corner of my eye looking down at the messy sand castle. "Aww baby that's cute but who's camryn?" I ask as he stood up drawing stick figures in the sand. I brung my knees up to my chest listening to him as he explained.

"That's my baby sisters name mommy duhhhh" he says putting his hands on his hip giving me the duhh face. I smiled liking up at his posture before speaking. "Oh is it? Who says mommy is going to have another baby" I ask getting curious at where this conversation was going. "Daddy" he simply says as I smiled shyly. "Really? When did daddy say that?" I asked as he continued to draw in the sand. "And what else were you and daddy talking about that made you bring up babies" I ask as he dropped the stick pulling me up. "Daddy said he's going to get you down the aisle and give you a really BIIIIIIIIG ring then I'll get my sister" he says as tears filled my eyes again.

"Really. He said that baby" I asked as he looked up at me nodding his head quickly. "Look mommy this is daddy and me right here and this is you and camryn right here" he says pointing down at the picture he was drawing in the sand earlier. "I see baby. What made you call her camryn" I ask looking down at him as he swayed side to side. "There's this girl who was in my class back at home and her name was camryn. She was really pretty" he says as I giggled. "Jay what you know about girls being pretty boy. Girls have cooties" I say looking down at him. "Mommy you're pretty so does that mean you have cooties" he asks as I burst out into laughter.

"Nooooo mommy don't have cooties. But little girls do and you're only suppose to like them when you're 25 years old"I say picking him up tickling him as he laughed. "Well camryn was pretty and I know when my sister finally gets here she'll be pretty so I named her camryn" he says as I looked at how serious he was about having a sister. "Mommy can I have a sister" he asks looking up at me. "I don't know jay. Momma's not ready for any more babies right now. Don't you want to be momma's baby forever?" I ask as he wrapped his arms around my neck shaking his head no. "Noooo mommy I want a baby sister" he whines as my heart dropped. Meek and I are not in a good state right so another baby is out the picture and besides I want to be married before I pop out more.

I placed jaylen on his feet bending down to his level. "Look jay give mommy some time to think about it ok?" I ask as he held his head down. "Ok jay? Answer me baby" I say as he looked up at me with tears in his eyes running back over to the girls. I stood up seeing meek and the chasers coming up with the food as jay ran over to meek. I broke my heart seeing him hurt but he's only 4 and I know he's smart but he doesn't know what meek and I have been through. Tears fell as I wiped then looking up at meek walking my way. I quickly cleared my tears as he approached me. "Yo you good? What's up with jay" he asks as I looked up at him. "Yea I'm good. We just had a small conversation that's all. I'm hungry so lets eat" I say smiling before walking back over with everyone else.
