Chapter 51

Next day

Nicki POV

"Yes ma'am I am on my way.....ok bye" I say to Maria as I ended the call. She told me she had some dresses for the bridesmaids and some Alexander McQueen dresses for me to choose from today and wanted all of us to meet her downtown. Meek and Jaylen went with the men earlier today to get their suits fitted and sized so my baby girl was with me. I had just left my favorite donut shop picking up donuts for everyone and now I'm on my way to meet Maria and the girls.

Once I arrived I got out getting Camryn's stroller out the trunk. Opening her door I took her car seat out placing her inside the stroller and placing her bag and my purse up under it in the little basket. Pushing her up I opened the passengers side getting the donuts out, shutting and locking the doors. "Hey baby girl I see you starring at mommy" I say looking down at her as she smiled. "Gosh you're so freaking cute" I cooed pushing her up to the door seeing Maria inside as she came to hold the door open for me.

"Thank you Maria" I say sweetly pushing her in. "Wow you're here pretty early and in a better mood from yesterday too" she says in her thick accent as I just smiled. "Yea I wanted to get here early so I can apologize to everyone and showering you guys with my favorite donuts" I say holding the boxes up putting them on the table. "Ok well still everyone else arrives let's look over these dresses shall we?" She says as I pushed Camryn over by me nodding my head yes as she grabbed her a donut and her book sitting down beside me.

Moments later the girls arrived including Kathy and my mom. "Hey giiiiiiirls" I happily as they looked at me strange. "Hey Onika don't you look happy and glowing today" Candi says as everyone agreed. "Donuts anyone" I ask cheesing. "How we suppose to know you didn't poison these" my mother says as I shook my head. "I didn't momma geeshhhh" I say getting up walking over to them. "Hey can I talk to you privately momma" I ask as she grabbed a donut following me.

"Hey. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for the way I acted yesterday momma. I don't know what's gotten into me lately but I've just been so stressed and aggravated with this wedding planning because I want everything to turn out just the way I want it" I say as she nodded her head finishing up her donut. "Onika baby I understand it's your wedding, well actually you and Meeks wedding, but you can't block us out and dog your family and friends out when you get mad or stressed out like that. Maria has everything under control all you have to do is give her all your ideas and she'll handle the rest baby" she says as I nodded.

"Yes and I totally agree so from here on out I'll leave it all to Maria. Again I am so sorry for how I acted soooooooo do you by any chance forgive me?" I ask softly as she smiled opening her arms as I walked into them. "Yes baby girl I forgive you and guess what" she says pulling back looking me into my eyes. "I uh talked with Maria on a few things and ummmm whatever Alexander McQueen dress you choose, just know momma gotcha" she says as my eyes grew. "Oh my gosh really" I squeal looking over at Maria as she winked back at me.

"Awwwwww mommyyyyyyy thank youuuuu" I say hugging her tight almost on the verge of tears. "No problem baby girl anything for my only daughter. I'm going make it my business that I get and help you with anything you need with this wedding and on your big day" she says as pulled back smiling. "Thank you" I say as she wiped my tears. "Alright let's go try on dresses momma" I say grabbing her hand walking back over to the girls.

As I was trying on dresses the girls were all in the same dressing room as me while my mother and Kathy watched Camryn. "Damn sis yo whole ass mode has changed, bet it was all meek" titi says as I just smiled. "Uh no it wasn't" I say in my British accent as they shook their heads. "She's lying when she uses her British accent soooo" Na says as I shook my head fanning her off. "Hush ok, mind yalls business" I say looking for another dress to try on.

"Damn cookie you bounce back fast. Shit ya body snatched as fuck and I swear ya ass done got fatter" Candi says as I looked over my body in the mirror. "Thanks Candi. Bae been working me....." I say getting cut off by titi's loud ass. "Oh shit if that's what good dick do to you then I need to get me a hood Philly nigga" sht says causing us to laugh. "Seeeeee I can't with you and before I was rudely interrupted Candi I what I was saying was bae had been working me in the gym busting my ass every 3 days of the week and sometimes weekends along with a dietary meal plan and I must say I'm satisfied with my results" I say hearing my phone ring.

"Well you sure don't look like you had a baby four months ago sis I tell you that" she says as I answered my phone putting on speaker seeing it was meek. "Hey baby you're on speaker" I say sitting the phone down stepping inside a dress. "Oh hey baby, hey girls" he says as they all said hey. "How has she been today, bad" he asks as I smacked my teeth. "Nah she's been good even apologized for actions yesterday. And she's been glowing too" Na says as I shushed her. "Oh that's good and thank you that's all me" he says as my eyes grew.

I then took him off speaker placing the phone to my ear as side eyeing the girls as they smirked and laughed whispering things under their breath. I excused myself placing my robe on walking outside the dressing room. "Really meek, you had to say all that you play too much. Get on my neeeeeeeerves" I say as he chuckled. "Listen baby I was calling you to let you know me and Jaylen headed back now but first we're picking up movies and a pizza" he says. "Wait is this pizza for Jay or the whole family meek." I ask adjusting the phone to my other ear. "It's for everybody baby, and yes I'm letting you have a cheat day today" he says as I squeaked.

"Thank you baby, well lemme finish up with Maria and the girls then me and Cam will be on our way, see you and Jay in a few! Love you, bye" I say ending the call smiling going back into the dressing room as the girls smirked looking me up and down. "Ugh will y'all stop and tend to trying on yalls dresses please AND thank you!" I say shaking my head as the fanned me off. "Dick too bomb I see" titi says as I threw a hanger her way but missed. "You know what, I can't with y'all nosey asses" I say grabbing another dress going to try it on.
