Chapter 76

Next day

9:08am

Meek POV

I was sleeping good till I felt small smacks on my face. "Damn Nicki chill out" I say with my eyes still closed soon feeling something wet run down my cheek. I smiled realizing who it was when I felt little gums and teeth. "Goodmorning Ma Ma" I say as she gave me another drool kiss making baby noises. "Heeeey dada........uice" she says trying to say juice but instead she said it without the j.

"Damn cam daddy just got up" I say sitting up stretching. "Come on" I say as she crawled over to me. Placing her on her feet she followed me into the bathroom so I could brush my teeth. Once I was finished I picked her up walking out into the hall stopping by jaylens room first. He was still sleeping hanging off the bed with no shirt on I swear he sleeps just like me. "Jay Jay still sleeping baby girl so we not gone bother him." I say as she started saying Jay Jay over and over again.

Walking downstairs I seen the girls still sleeping and Nicki was taking up half the couch with her legs drooped over Candi. Snacks, candy, and alcohol was everywhere and I thought I told her ass not to be drinking heavy. "Mama" Camryn says pointing at Nicki as I shushed her. "Shhhh mommy and auntie Candi and Titi sleeping baby girl lets go get you some juice" I say walking in the kitchen as she started screaming "MAMAMA" over and over again. "Camryn" I say sternly as she became quite pouting her lips like how Nicki does when I get on to her.

Placing her in her high chair I got her a bottle down pouring some apple juice in it. "Here you go baby girl" I say as she jibbered taking her bottle. "You welcome Ma" I say as she sat back enjoying her cold beverage. I then turned around seeing Nicki walk in the kitchen holding her head not noticing me until I said something. "Goodmorning" I say causing her to jump and gasp. "Oh my god Rihmeek you scared the fuck outta me" she says as Camryn started calling her name. "Mama" she says as Nicki reached in the cabinet looking for the pain killers that I took down.

"Looking for these? Bet yo ass got a hangover don't you" I say as she smacked her teeth walking over to me. "Meek give them here and stop playing" she says trying to reach them as Camryn started banging her bottle on her tray calling Nicki's name again. "Goodmor....." She says running off to the bathroom to throw up as I just shook my head. "'Mommy never listens to daddy Cam" I say as she started talking her jibberish talk. I took two pills out placing it on the island with a glass of water so when she comes back she can take it.

"Alright looks like I'm the cook for today" I say walking over to the fridge taking the things I would need to start breakfast with out. Turning around I seen Nicki was standing there downing the two pills rolling her eyes at me as I motioned for her to come here. "Why you drink so much last night when daddy told you not to" I ask as she shrugged pouting her lips. "I don't know meek I was just enjoying myself" she says as I pulled her in for a hug.

"Next time you'll listen" I say leaning down kissing her forehead as she sighed. "I know and I'll listen next time because this slight hangover I got ain't no joke. The girls made me do it" she says as we looked over at them coming in the kitchen. "No the hell we didn't Miss liar" titi says as I nodded. "Oh I know how she is y'all don't worry y'all not in trouble this one is" I say smacking and squeezing her ass as she pushed me back rubbing it. "Ouch meek that shit hurts" she says walking over to Camryn as I shrugged.

"Goodmorning baby girl" she says taking her out placing her on her hip. "Meek why did you give her this bottle? I'm trying to ween her off of it by giving her juice in one of those sippy cups." She says as I shrugged again. "You know she only gets a bottle of milk at night when we're trying to put her to bed" she says as I nodded. "Come on y'all. Meek getting on my nerves right now" she says walking out the kitchen with the girls following right behind her as I continued to fix up some breakfast.

3 hours later.

Nicki POV

"Alright y'all can stay in the car I'll be right back I just gotta go in and get some folders for my interns who'll be helping me when I do plastic surgery on new patients. Unbuckle Camryn for me tho because I'm pretty sure my workers are going to want to see her." I say grabbing my phone. I had the girls and kids with me because  meek is going birthday shopping for Jaylen considering his birthday in 2 weeks.

"Alright mama lets go" I say reaching for her as titi passed her up front. "Be right back" I say getting out the car going in. "Hey Nic. Awww you brung Camryn by to see us" Caroline says at the front desk as I smiled. "Hey y'all. And yes ma'am I did. Y'all mind watching her while I run to my office real quick?" I ask trying to give Camryn to them but she only held on to me tighter til Caroline took out a sucker. "Uh oh look now she wants to come" she says as I leaned Camryn over the desk.

"Alright I'll be right back" I say sneaking off. Once I got everything I needed I placed the appointments in before going back up front. "Alright cam cam you ready to go bye bye" I say leaning over the counter as she looked at me licking the sucker. "Where's Jaylen" one of the girls asked as I smiled looking back at Camryn. "He's outside in the car with his godmoms. "Hey Nicki can I speak with you for a minute" Caroline says. "Sure" I say placing my folders down on the counter as she walked from behind the desk pulling me into the hall.

"There has been this man who comes up here every other day saying he's looking for you. He says something about he knows what happened to Jarvis" she says as my heart dropped. "Wait what, what are you talking about, what man?" I ask as she looked at me as if she's been threaten. "He wouldn't give me his name but he says he know who you are and to warn you about him. I've called the police on him so he doesn't come up here anymore but all I'm saying is be careful Nicki" she says as I stood there in shock.

" I'm not sure if he has a brother or not but that man has been dead for almost two years so who the hell out looking for me and how does this man know who I am?" I asked concerned as she shrugged. "Are you sure you have no information on him? This shit doesn't sound right Caroline. It just seems a little off" I say as she sighed. "He did leave a number which I have hidden at my station." She says as I sighed. "Why haven't you told me this earlier" I asked before she walked back.

"Well because it's been two weeks and I didn't want to bother you because of how busy you've been and you told me when you're busy not to bother you with things that aren't important at the time" she says as I shook my head. "No if I would've known it was about this then I would've made time to see what was up. Look just give me the number. I'll have my husband figure something out." I say following behind her to the front taking Camryn from the other workers as Caroline slid a note inside one of my folders.

"Caroline you mind walking me out I have to speak with you" I say as she nodded. "Bye Nicki, bye Camryn" everyone says as I turned around smiling. "Say bye bye Cam" I say as she waved saying bye bye. "Look I didn't mean to be so harsh on you its just that this is serious matter and you know what happened to Melissa. She tried her best to keep me safe and now she's gone and I don't want that to happened to you." I say as she nodded.

"I know and I'm sorry for just now telling you, anything else come up that seems important dealing with you or anything I'll be sure to let you know first thing." She says as I nodded. "Well alright speak with you soon ok" I say hugging her as she pulled back. "Take care and be safe nika" she says as I nodded. "Thank you and I will" I say walking to my car as she waved Camryn and I goodbye. Getting in I passed her back to titi as she places her in her car seat.

"That took a while. Got everything you needed" Candi ask as I nodded my head yes not saying anything but pulling out the parking lot. "Yo what's wrong" she asks as I shook my head. "Nothing I just need to run home real quick" I say sending a text to meek telling him to meet me there but when I made a turn a black truck pulled in front of me hitting us as I managed to gather the wheel and pull off in a ditch before everything went black.
