Chapter 7

Next day

Nicki POV

"So this what we doing now" I heard a males voice say in my ear slowly waking up to Jarvis in my face. I look around for meek but he wasn't in here. "Who the fuck shoes are those? You fucking with another nigga" he asks in my face as I looked away. His breath smelled horrible like liquor, he smelled like cheap perfume and had a stench that smelled like he's been smoking for ages. "Where the fuck he at? HUH, where the fuck yo bitch ass baby daddy bitch, can you hear me talking to YOU" he says yanking my chin up at him as tears formed in my eyes. "Let me GO Jarvis. I'm not about to play with you." I say as he yanked me up off the couch. "Where the fuck he at? I know he here" he says as I tried pulling away.

"Yo didn't she say let her go pussy. Yea I said PUSSY! You a real pussy nigga putting yo hands on her and disrespecting my baby moms and that's one thing I don't play about is my son and baby moms" meek says coming down the stairs calmly, too calmly it scared me. Before I knew it he came charging in dragging him outside beating his ass. "Meek stop before the neighbors call the police" I say watching him give Jarvis punches to the head repeatedly. "MEEK STOP" I yell as he continued beating him damn near killing him. I ran over seeing Jarvis unresponsive as meek continued beating him. "MEEK!!!" I yelled again as he finally stopped. I then ran over to him crying as he picked me up rubbing my back. "It's ok baby girl daddy's got you" he says in my ear soothing me as the tears flowed. "Oh my gawd meek look. I think you killed him" I say as he put me down walking over to him feeling his pulse.

"He's not dead just unconscious baby. I'll call the police and ambulance you go in and start on breakfast" he says as I nodded my head before turning around to go back in the house but he stopped me pulling me back kissing my lips. Pulling away I smiled going in the house wiping my lips on my arm m. I placed the bacon on the pan letting it cook. As I got everything else out to cook I heard little feet coming towards the kitchen. "Good morning mommy. Where's daddy" jaylen asked walking over to me rubbing his eyes as I picked him up placing him on the counter, "daddy's taking care of business right now baby. But he's still here. Wanna help momma cook" I ask as he nodded his head reaching over grabbing a piece of bacon stuffing it in his mouth. "Ugh why must you be just like your daddy boy" I say as meek walked in coming over to me hugging me. When we pulled away he stuffed a piece of bacon down his mouth too. "M-MEEEEK I just got on to jaylen about doing that then here come you" I say shaking my head as he high fives jaylen.

"Ok get out my kitchen boys... NOW" I say as meek picked up jaylen throwing him up in the air before catching him. "Come on jay lets go. Mommy don't love us" he says throwing him up again as he giggled. "Meek you better not drop my damn baby boy" I say as he fanned me off walking out. It took me at least 30 minutes to completely finish since meek is here and him and jaylen can EAT! "Boooooys breakfast is ready" I say fixing their plates down on the table. I then sat down across from them praying over the food. Jaylen couldn't even let me say amen first before stuffing his face. Me and meek shook our heads at him as he had his attention on nothing but his plate.

"So about earlier they took him on to the hospital and from there they'll see what's up with taking him to court." Meek says as I nodded my head. "I'm just glad he's finally gotten the proper beat down he deserved." I say picking up my sausage eating it slowly as he watched. "Yea but you know what else needs a proper beating?" Meek says smirking as I sat back thinking about what he was hinting at. "OH MY GAWD! Why would you say that...... In front of him too" I say throwing my balled up napkin at him. "What he don't know what I'm talking about" he says as shook my head. "Wow Rihmeek." I say shaking my head laughing. "I don't know how to repay you. Thank you for coming in saving me. When we gone talk about where and what school.... Never mind we'll talk about that later" I say not wanting jay to know he's moving soon.

"Ok breakfast was good as hell ma. Now lets go out and find something to do as a family" meek says getting up grabbing our plates and throwing them in the sink. "Where you want to go today baby boy" I ask looking down at jay as he looked up at me. "Lets go to the ZOO" he says as I smacked my teeth. "But jay we've been there these past weeks. I say as he pouted. "I wanna see the elephants" he says all cute as I gave in. "Fine lets go get changed" I say walking up the stairs getting the things we need to start our day.
