Chapter 24

Nicki POV

2 weeks later

Today I am officially 2 months. I still couldn't believe I was 6 weeks pregnant two weeks ago when I went to the doctor. My pudge has gotten a little bit bigger so you can see the form of it clearly now but I've been hiding it so no one could tell. Meek and I were packing for a 2 weeks stay in New York. I wanted to be home for thanksgiving because being around my family and friends is very much needed. "Mommy can I bring these" Jaylen says running in our room holding up his super hero toys. "Yes baby boy pack them up" I say as he ran out. "And walk Jaylen don't make me tell you again" I say sitting on the bed. "This literally the second time he's ran in here" I say looking over at meek as he zipped up his bag. "He's just excited as you are that we're going up to New York to visit so let him be." Meek says as I shook my head. "Oh ok." I say putting the last of my things in my suit cases zipping them up. "Bring these on ya way out" I say walking out and into Jaylen room.

"Jay baby are you done packing up your toy bag" I ask sitting down on the bed watching him dig in his toy box. "Not yet mommy. I looking for my batman" he says looking over at me placing his hands on his chin like how meek does when he's going in to deep thought. "Remember you left it in mommy's car the other day baby" I say as it came to him. "Oh yeah well I'm done" he says coming out his closet. "Ok bring your bag here so I can zip it up and put it by the door for daddy to get" I say as he slid it over to me. Zipping it up I placed it by the door then grabbed his hands going downstairs. "Before we go get in the car let mommy get her a snack first baby" I say walking in the kitchen grabbing my pickles and peanut butter. "Alright let's go" I say as he followed. Getting in we waited for meek to the load up. I took out a pickle dipping it in peanut butter. "Mmmmmmm" I moan crunching down on my pickle as meek finally got in.

"I mean damn Ma you could've helped" he says as I shrugged my shoulders. "You eat that shit every time and end up puking." Meek says looking over at me. "No I won't trust me" I say dipping another one. "Ok we'll see about that" he says pulling out heading to the air port. About 35 minutes in I was starting to feel sick but I didn't show it. I waited till we arrived. Meek got out grabbing Jaylen since he was sleep as our flight attendants helped with our luggage. "Thank you" I say as they walked up the steps. I followed behind them but stopped turning around leaning over the rail throwing up. Once I was done I reached in my purse grabbing my water rinsing my mouth out before boarding the plane. "Got sick" meek asks scaring me as I turned the corner. "Yes" I say lowly in my baby voice. "What I tell you. Come here" he says as I walked over slowly to him. He placed me in his lap as I wrapped my arms around his torso. "Baby I don't feel too good I wanna go lay down" I say sitting up looking at him. "Alright baby go on back there and lay with Jaylen. I'll be up here" he says as I got up wanting a kiss but he dodged it. "'Meeeeek sta-ahhhhhp" I whine as he reached up kissing my lips. "Go rest baby" he says patting my butt as I nodded my head and walked to the back to lay down with jay.

Meek POV

About 5 hours later we arrived in New York. Everything was set in our uber I just had to get Nicki up. "Baby we here wake up" I say shoving her lightly as she groaned turning over. I was not about to fight with her so I picked her up as she whines, carrying her off the plane like a baby, and placing her in the backseat in my lap as our driver took us to her moms house. "Haha daddy mommy a big baby" Jaylen says looking over at the way Nicki was sleep in my arms. "I know jay. She need to stop because when your s..... Never mind" I say catching myself about to slip up. We haven't told him about Nic being pregnant yet, we really haven't told anybody yet because we pretty much want to know what we're having first so we can throw a guess the gender party. We'll find out what we're having next month or January it depend on how that baby acts on showing us their sex parts. "Are we going to see papa, mama, auntie candy yams, lani and lulu" he asks as I cut him off. "Yes jay we're going to see everybody but next week though. Thanksgiving next week man" I say as he nodded his head.

Soon we arrived and Nicki was finally up. "I bet you're hungry aren't you?" I ask as she shook her head yes stretching. "Alright let's get in first" I say as she nodded her head getting out going on in as I got the bags out the car with a little bit of help from Jaylen. "Thanks man" I say as he ran in the house. "MAMAAAAAA" he screams running in the kitchen hugging Carol as she picked him up. "Hey my baby" she says kissing his cheeks. "Hey son" she says as I approached the kitchen walking over hugging her. I seen that Nic's dad was out back fixing up his car.  "Hey ma  how's it been going" I ask as she started talking about her day. "Oh word. Well that's good. Imma go on up and unpack" I say walking over to Nicki kissing her then leaving out the kitchen.

Nicki POV

"Onika you picking up weight over there" she says as my heart raced. "Really momma? How I look? I ask she stopped walking over to me. "I mean it looks like you're pregnant." She says as my eyes grew. "You know I can see that you're pregnant right?" She asks as I turned around facing her. "How" I simply say as age raised her eyebrows at me. "Well for one your hips and two this big loose shirt you got on" she says as I sighed crossing my arms over my chest. "Well don't say nothing to no body momma I mean it. We don't want to anybody to know till after we find out the gender so we can throw a guess the gender party" I say as she walked over to me cheesing.

"Ok" she says placing her hand on my small but round baby bump. "Oh my hi my little sugar foot" she says as I looked down at her hand smiling. "Does Jaylen know" she asks looking up at me as I nodded my head. "No he doesn't. Not just yet. We're surprising him along with everybody else as well. Speaking of Jaylen where is he?" I ask as she walked over to the fridge. "He went up with meek" she says as I nodded my head. "Now that I know you're pregnant want to fix up your favorite meal, I know you're hungry" she says pulling out two long sandwich rolls. "Yesssssssss momma come THRUUUUUUU" I say as she took out everything I loved on my sandwich.
