"OOOHHH, MY TWITCHY WITCHY HUMAN, I THINK YOU ARE SO NICE. I GIVE YOU BOWLS OF PORRIDGE AND I GIVE YOU BOWLS OF ICE CREAM!"
Papyrus sang at the top of his lungs as he placed plates of spaghetti in front of himself and Frisk. Sans was in his room doing god knows what. "T-thank you." Frisk stuttered. Undyne smiled reassuringly to Papyrus as he handed her a plate. She took a bite and shivered. Holding the food in her mouth only barely.
"ARE YOU NOT HUNGRY?" Papyrus asked sweetly as Frisk looked down at their plate.
"Sans and I already ate at Grillby's."
Papyrus sighed and took the plate out from in front of Frisk. "Thank you though. I'm sure it's delicious." Frisk complimented.
Papyrus lit up again and flicked on the television. A rerun of Mettaton's show was on.
"So." Frisk said as Undyne choked down her food. "Yeh?" She asked with tears brimming her eyes.
"You know who Degree is right?" Undyne spat out her food and laughed. "Degree?! Don't even get me started!" Papyrus sighed and rolled his head back. "IT REALLY ISN'T A GOOD IDEA TO GET HER STARTED." He warned. "What about her?"
Frisk asked innocently. Undyne took a drink of water and put her plate on the coffee table. "Well, she's a drunk. She smells like canned beans, she has no regard for personal space and sorta forces her little friend to carry her around and cater her when she's passed out."
Frisk lit up. "Little friend?"
Undyne nodded and picked her teeth.
"Her name is Zombie and is probably the saddest excuse of a life form you'd ever see. She doesn't do anything as far as I know besides pick up after Degree. When she isn't doing that she's out in the forest trying to learn how to attack... She doesn't really get the concept."
Papyrus looked over angrily and crossed his arms. Undyne looked over and sighed. "BUT... I suppose when Degree isn't piss drunk mad and Zombie doesn't have to carry her around. They're sorta nice."
Frisk nodded and looked over to Papyrus whom was pleased.
"Where do they live?" Frisk asked.
Sans came down the stairs and looked across the room with a serious look on his face. "That doesn't matter. You should leave them alone kiddo. They aren't good people."
Frisk nodded slowly and looked over to Papyrus. "I AGREE WITH SANS." He said. Undyne nodded along with and took a deep breath.
"Okay." Frisk mumbled.

*Time skip brought to you by doggo*

Frisk was laying next to Undyne on the couch. Papyrus had folded it out into a bed for the two when it became late and reruns of reruns started coming on.
Frisk didn't get it. They knew that the three obviously knew something about Degree and Zombie that they didn't.
And so, by the power of determination and nosiness, frisk hopped off the couch and got dressed. Pulling on the Tutu over their pants, frisk left the house and wandered through the sleeping town to Grillby's.
The restaurant was closed but it hadn't snowed at all. Meaning a lovely track was left behind from Zombie and Degree.
It wasn't that hard to find the right tracks. All Frisk needed to find was a pair of small shoe prints with long dragged talon marks beside them.
Frisk followed the prints to the forest. Feeling a pit in their stomach as they approached the familiar portion close to the door to the ruins.
Frisk watched the tracks waver and stop in the middle of the road. There seemed to be some sort of struggle then continue. Instead with a pair of large three clawed foot prints sloppily printed next to the little ones. They continued own the path that way until they finally turned off into the forest.
Frisk looked back to where the path led. There was a pale light and the path was still very clear. Frisk looked back to be greeted with the grand old door. Their stomach dropped and they patted it. "Hi mom." They whispered before walking past the bush. The camera within clicking and recording.
Frisk huffed as the cold of the forest ate them. It seemed almost twice as cold as the town and the path they had just left but they could see the light getting closer at the end of the path.
Frisk blinked hazily and lay down in the snow. It was too cold and a breeze was picking up through the vast tunnels of the underground.
Frisk wiped their nose and closed their eyes as a shadow loomed over them. Falling asleep in the snow. The figure picked them up and carried them off back towards town.
