Alphys was happy to see Frisk and Sans. Already knowing what happened because of her lovely cameras botching the underground.
"I've already set up a bed for her." Alphys smiled while presenting the little bed. Sans nodded and walked off. The door opening before he got to it.
Undyne walked in confused and sat down. "Papyrus has been going nuts. Something about faces being smashed and angry yelling. I want in." Sans looked at Undyne and shook his head. "That is a very bad idea." Undyne snuffed her face and chuckled.
"I doubt it. I can handle anything." Alphys was about to cue in on the conversation when the door opened once again. The smell of cigars, canned beans and liquor assaulting the noses of everyone inside.
Undyne scoffed as Degree walked in, Zombie wrapped in her arms. A blanket over her face and body.
"You got a lot of nerve showing up here."
Undyne said while pulling out a spear, Degree ignored the fish woman. Not even turning to look at anyone. Turning her head only to give a glare to Sans.
"Where do I put her." Degree said softly as she stared down to Alphys.
"You've grown." Alphys said weakly while leading Degree to the bed.
Degree didn't respond to that statement.*time skip brought to you by some lame excuse*
Degree stared blankly at Zombie as Alphys spread an odd sort of calcium paste into the hole on her face, pulling the bone back out from her sunken socket and replacing the broken shards.
Sans stared through the doorway while Undyne bickered with Papyrus.
Frisk walked into the room and patted Degree when Alphys finished.
" I think you have some explaining to do." Frisk whispered while taking out a tiny bottle from their pocket. Degree sighed and crossed her arms. "I don't think so. Every time anything happens I just run my big mean mouth. It just makes things worse."
Frisk growled and picked a feather off her arm. "Ow."
Degree hissed. Alphys looked over fearfully and sighed.
Degree looked up and swiped back her feathers.
"I'd need to show you. There's an old camera in the house. If you go get it id be able to explain a lot easier."
Frisk snuffed their nose and crossed their arms.
"It's... In the box with my armour..."
Frisk nodded and walked towards the door. "Be careful." Alphys warned. Fisk nodded again and left.
Frisk walked through hotland in silence. It didn't take long to get back to waterfall. Frisk had tried to get the river person to give them a ride but they were not around.
Waterfall was quiet. There wasn't much going on besides folks happily splashing in the water or sitting in their homes.
Napstablook appeared and went along with Frisk for a short while. His mood changing from its usual sullen feel to that of a happier demeanour.
Frisk paced through snowdin, pausing only to grab a drink from Grillby's.
"Where is Degree?" Grillby asked in his usual crackling. Redbird no longer had to translate for him due to Frisk learning the cracklings as a language.
"Zombie got hurt." Grillby nodded and cleaned out a glass.
"How?" He cracked. Frisk shrugged and licked their lip.
"It's a long story." Grillby nodded again and Frisk got up. Placing a few G on the counter. "Send them my good will. I miss Zombie's awkward silence and Degree's chuckles." Grillby said as Frisk left.
They smiled and nodded before the door closed behind them.
Frisk walked to the tiny house in the woods and into he closet. Rummaging through the boxes, the largest one containing Degree's chest plate. Under it was a tiny video camera decorated with purple stars and "you're great!" stickers.
Frisk opened it but it was dead. They grumbled and shoved it into their inventory. Frisk was about to leave when they heard something behind the house. They walked around the house to find Toby sniffling the ground. Frisk pet the little white dog. And looked at the wall. Jumping as they saw its graphic content. There was several pictures of dead monsters and knives. Disturbingly familiar faces slathered around each body. Frisk looked to the middle and saw Degree laying dead in the snow. Zombie leaning over the body. Frisk growled and walked off.
Frisk walked back to snowdin and caught the river person. A strange Little fire Sprite sat across from them. They stared starry eyed as Frisk picked their nose.
Frisk got off and the little Sprite followed full heartedly.
Frisk became annoyed after they had nearly tripped because of the little Sprite stepping in their heels.
"What?" Frisk asked. The tiny flame jumped excitedly and smiled.
"You're Frisk! I saw you! You fought Mettaton that was amazing! I mean I could've done way better but WOW good job!"
Frisk nodded slowly and smiled.
"My name is wisp! Nice to meet you!"
