Zombie swerved through the forest. Tripping often and panting heavily with sweat beads spit balling off her skull.
Frisk hobbled through the forest quickly. Feeling no need to stop and not feeling the cold due to the determination coursing through them.
Zombie finally stopped thinking that she had lost Frisk in the woods. Panting heavily, she picked up her bags and began to walk again. Turning around to come face to face with Frisk. "Hi." Frisk smiled. Zombie yelled and landed on her butt. She began to cry and held up her hands in fear. A cage of pale purple bones wrapping around her like a shield. "Please don't hurt me." She stuttered. Frisk looked at the little skeleton and pushed the bones to the side. "Don't be scared I won't hurt you." They smiled again. Zombie opened her eyes and wiped her tears hesitantly.
"My name is Frisk, nice to meet you." Frisk blurted while holding out a hand. Zombie took it and got up.
"I am Zombie. Now I've got to go before Degree misses me." Frisk was afraid to not becoming at least acquaintances with the skeleton.
"Wait wait, can't we talk for a bit?" Frisk asked politely. Zombie sighed and rubbed the back of her skull. "But don't you got other people to talk to? I mean Degree brought you back to the town so Sans and Papyrus would find you. They're with you right?"
Frisk looked at Zombie surprised and smiled. "Degree brought me back? I thought it was you." Zombie shrugged and smiled. "I told her to. I would've but my spine was sore from carrying Degree home. Big baby." Zombie chuckled while fixing the contents of her grocery bags.
"ZOMBIIIIIEEEE!" A loud obnoxious roar came from deep in the trees. Zombie looked over panicked as loud stomps could be heard making their way towards them. "Crap. C'mon Frisk I gotta hide you." Zombie said in a trustful way. Frisk smiled and happily obliged as Zombie lifted them up. Pulling open her shirt, Zombie stuffed Frisk into her rib cage, cradling them with her hips.
"Zombie I got home and you weren't home yet." Degree said in a stressed tone. "I wanted to get more food. Why weren't you home?" Zombie asked. Degree must've Gotten Zombie to start walking because the ground Frisk could see from under the sweater was moving, and Zombie's hips were swaying.
"I wanted to get some nicecream for my best friend."
Degree chuckled. Zombie took the frozen treat and reached into her pocket. Frisk heard a click come from Zombie's face and Nicecream began to pour into the same space Frisk was hidden. The food dissipating as it reached the bottom of her ribs.
"You know I can never eat this stuff. It's too nice."
Degree complained as the nicecream complimented her. Zombie ate her cone and another click came from her face. She placed whet ever se had taken out back into her pocket.
"Thanks Deggo." Zombie said. Degree patted Zombie on the back, Frisk leaned away from the claws as they felt past Zombie's spinal column.*time lapse*
Zombie and Degree walked through the forest chatting for a while until they finally stopped at a door. Frisk was freezing by now. The warmth that came from the door being unlocked made them breath heavily and cling to Zombie's spine. Zombie laughed as this tickled her.
"What's good homeslice?" Degree asked confused. Zombie stopped walking and rubbed her back. Causing Frisk to let go. "Nothing, just happy to be home."
Degree and Zombie must've sat down. Frisk could feel the space get smaller as Zombie compacted herself into the bolstered cushions of the couch.
Zombie must've been thinking ahead. Degree didn't last long on the couch watching television and fell asleep. Zombie got back up and walked outside. Pulling up her sweater for Frisk to fall out. "Now go home, Degree is sober she'll attack you seriously this time if you don't go."
Frisk shook their head and smiled. Pretending not to know the way.
"That way." Zombie said annoyed.
Degree grumbled. Frisk smiled and hugged Zombie. Almost pleading to stay. Zombie tried to pull the little human off but each attempt only made it worse.
"Could you... Just... Cmon..." Zombie struggled while fumbling in the doorframe. Frisk tickled Zombie intentionally. She screeched and grabbed the little human by the leg. "THATS ENOUGH OF THIS TOMFOOLERY!" Zombie covered her jawless teeth and dropped Frisk. Frisk looked up shocked by the resemblance to Papyrus' voice she had emitted. Degree got up. Walking over to the door huffing and growling.
"Human... So nice of you to drop by." Zombie tried to push Degree back but it was in vain. Degree picked up Zombie and plopped her to the side into a snow poff.
Degree picked up Frisk and stamped her large feet. "Let's brawl." She hissed.
