Ch 6

Ch 6-

I woke up thinking about yesterday. I found myself smiling about the thought of Luke. But then Ryan crossed my mind so I decided to go to the park instead. When I got there everyone looked at me like I was some criminal.

"Where were you yesterday? We were supposed to look for people to be in our boarding video." Ryan said.

"Oh... umm....." I was trying to make an excuse and it hit me "Oh yea I found this guy. He's an awesome skater and he wants to be in the video."

"Then where is he?"

"Umm he is late. But he'll be here soon. Ill text him."

I texted Luke and explained the whole situation 10 minutes later he was there. I introduced him to everyone

"Umm. This is Luke he's new to town and he's gonna be in our video."

He gave a halfhearted grin "Hey."

Everyone greeted him and we got to work.

After we finished shooting we all sat down on the couch and I was in Ryan's lap. Luke looked at me kinda funny but I didn't care. We all got a Mtn. Dew and watched James put the video together. Ryan put his arms around me and pulled me in to kiss me. Luke looked at me in anger, got up, and stormed out.

"Where's he going?" Ryan asked.

"Don't know. Don't care."

And we got back to the video. I thought to myself and I did care. So I told Ryan I had to go home but I went to find Luke. I checked at the river, not there, and then I went to the train tracks. There he was, so I went to talk to him.

"Hey..." I said awkwardly

"Just leave me alone."

"Why are you getting so mad!?"

"Because you lied to me!"

"I never lied to you."

"Well you let me kiss you when you had a boyfriend and that's the same thing. You led me on....."

I looked at him "Listen Luke. I'm sorry but please don't be mad at me... can we just be friends??"

"Is that what you want to do? Be friends... you think an apology is going to fix everything? Well it doesn't... It doesn't fix things..."

I looked at him, looked into his eyes.... his beautiful big green eyes. Then at his lips then his hair... I didn't know how I felt.... so I hugged him and he pulled me in closer.

"Does that fix things?" I joked

He laughed "Yea... guess it does. But no more secrets."

"Alright..... Umm can you walk me home I'm kinda by myself.."

"Yea. I will" he laughed
