Ch 24-

"Bye Luke." I say as I walk into my house.

I stomp downstairs, to find Carter laying down, and watching TV.

"What the hell bro?" I ask

"What?" he asks, not taking his blue eyes off of the TV screen

"Why did you guys disappear?"

"Huh?"

"I went back to the hospital, and y'all weren't there; then I went to the park, and y'all weren't there. So where were you guys?"

"Oh, we went to trash-, Umm I mean, we went to the uh, store."

"Carter, why you bull shitting me?"

"Why you say that?"

"Cause you don't even know where the store is."

"Ugh. How do you know.?"

"Carter, really?"

"Fine, we weren't at the store, but I'm not telling you where we were really."

I glare at him

"What?" he finally asks

"You can't hide things from me."

"But you'll get mad...."

"I might... Just tell me" I pout and poke out my bottom lip, he always falls for that one

"Fine, but you wont talk to us for a while, I'm sure of it."

what could they have possibly done!?

*Flashback*

**Carter's POV**

"Guys, lets not think about what Alex did, okay?" I ask them "She probably needed to think, or something."

"Yea, right. She's probably at the Raiders park right now, just stirring up trouble." Ryan says, clearly angry from all of this.

"Okay, and if she is, it wont matter. Because I have a plan. First, I need out of this hospital, I'm clearly fine!"

"Carter... You have a busted lip, a busted open head, bruises, and you just got out of a short concussion." Ash argues

"Obviously nothing I haven't had before." I grin

"Whatever, lets just get you out of here" Ryan agrees

They do what they have to do, and finally get me out of this boring hospital.

We're walking to the front desk, to fill out paperwork and this hot receptionist starts flirting with me. Of course, I got her number. ( I leave this part out, about the girl, cause if I tell Alex, she'll go crazy.)

We left that hell hole and went to the park for a brief while, to get situated.

"Alright, you guys ready?" I ask

"Yea. Checklist?" Ryan asks back

"Spraypaint?"

"Check"

"Silly string?"

"Check"

"Duck tape?"

"Check."

"TP?"

"Check."

"Mtn. Dew?"

"Check" Ryan answers with a devilish look on his face

"Lets go."

And we head off to trash the Raiders skatepark.

*Flashback Over*

**Alex's POV**

"What were you guys thinking!?" I nag at him "Griffin and his guys are gonna kill y'all! You know that, right?"

"Not unless we get to them first" Carter winks at me

I have been getting way too many winks today. People need to chill.

"So are you mad at us" Carter asks

"No. I'm not. But please don't mess with Griffin. He's capable of more than you know."

"Fine, I'm sorry. Now get your PJ'S on, and lay in bed with me! I'm watching your favorite movie" he grins persuasively

"Alright"

I slip out of my clothes, and put on sweatpants, and a tank top.

"Make some popcorn, yeah?"

"Okay, but pause the movie." I ask, and he puts The Lion King on pause.

Yes, my favorite movie is in fact, The Lion King. Its like the best movie of all time. Every genre is in that movie. Romance, comedy, musical, action, and even horror. Yes, I do cosider the parts where Simba is in danger, scary.

We spend the rest of the day, and night, watching The Lion King.

And around midnight, I fall asleep with my head on Carter's lap.
