Ch 42-
When I wake up the next morning, Luke was gone. What the hell. I get out of the truck and walk around to check it out. I go down to the dock and he isn't there.
"Found my clothes." I say to myself, while reaching into the lake to grab them. Thankfully no one came up behind me to push me off.
Walking back to the truck I see Luke with some guy, they're having a conversation, and I eavesdrop
"Thanks for coming." Luke tells the guy
"I told you to only call me for emergencies."
"This is an emergency."
"Whatever. Where's the girl?"
"I don't know. She was just here a minute ago."
I walk away from the tree I was behind, and walk closer to the truck.
"Here she is." Luke tells the guy
He looks at me, kind of scans me over before he says anything.
"Hi, I'm Alex." I smile at him
"Hi, I'm.. Here to help you."
"Okay.." Luke says "Alex, why don't you get in the truck, Yea?"
I just walk around to the passengers side and hop in.
A few minutes later, the man closes the hood of the truck, and waves bye to Luke.
"Well, that was a fun night" he says to me when he hops into his truck.
"Yea"
I watch him intently, as he puts the keys into the ignition. He starts the car, and we drive back to my house.

"Here" he says when I get out of the car. He hands me the CD that he made
"Thanks, Luke. I had fun." I smile at him and walk into my house.
