Chapter 2.5

The Time

"Mom..."

She's standing just a meter away from me. She's glowing into a blinding light but I could tell that she's my mom... our mother.

"Princess, the time has come."

I held out my hand to reach her. So close...

I woke up with a strange feeling. In a nanosecond, I felt it. Her overwhelming power engulfed the whole kingdom.

She's here. The awaited savior is here.

Someone walked inside my room. Ugh! The most annoying guy again.

"What?" I asked, irritated by his presence.

He chuckled. "I love you too."

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes heavenwards.

"Naramdaman mo ba?" he asked.

"Ang ano?" I asked 'innocently'.

"Everyone felt it, princess. Seems like our only hope is here. That creature's presence is so powerful. Everyone froze when they felt the energy. They felt refreshed."

How could he call her 'creature'?! If I could only tell him her name. This is so frustrating.

"Just get out. I don't care." I turned my back on him. He heaved a deep sigh.

"Kung pwede lang kitang itakas princess..." he's in despair.

It's too late, Prince.

"If I could turn back time, hindi ko siya papayagan sa mga plano niya. I could do better."

But it's too late. Kahit kaya kong kontrolin ang oras, hindi ko pwedeng guluhin ang balanse ng mundo.

"This is our fate, Prince." I mumbled audibly.

"I know fate has a better plan for you... for us." I added.

I know he wants to say something but he opted to keep mum. Better.
