Chapter 1.5

Sky

"Kumain ka na mahal na prinsesa." Mindy said in a mocking tone while placing the tray of food inside my cell. Well, definitely my room but prison is more appropriate.

I stared at her blankly. "Anong tinitingin tingin mo?" she's in her bitchy tone.

If I could just break these cuffs that prevent me from using my power, I would surely strangle the neck of this girl in front of me.

"Eating while seeing your face is really gross. I suggest you to get out of my room now so I could eat peacefully."

She was about to hit my face when a hand stopped her.

"No one is allowed to hurt her. Especially a servant." the most annoying guy ever said, emphasizing the word servant.

Mindy flushed red in embarrassment. She bowed her head before storming out the room.

I looked boredly at the most annoying guy ever.

"What is it again?"

"Look, are you still mad at me?"

I looked at him straight into his eyes. "Why would I?"

He was taken aback of what I've said.

"I'm sorry, Sky. I really am. Alam mo naman na gumagawa ako ng paraan para matapos 'tong kahibangan ng tatay ko diba?"

He held both of my hands. Then he kissed it. "Please, Sky. Trust me."

I avoided his gaze. "How can I trust a liar? How can I trust the person who failed me?" I mumbled.

"I love you... more than anything else."

I met his gaze. I caressed his right cheek.

"I don't deserve your love. Everything's just not... right. This is not a bona fide love." I said. I felt a tear fell from my eyes.

He wiped it. It's been a long time since I cried.

"I love you... that is real." I could feel his sincerity.

I held his hand. "Someone will walk into your life and will make you realize why it never worked out with me."

I suddenly felt sleepy. Must be the drug I drank from Mindy.

"Sky..."

I smiled as I close my eyes. Tomorrow, the day of our salvation will come. The true savior will come to bring back the Celestial empire in peace again.

Darkness will fall, someday and the light will reign again.

I smirked. How many days would I be sleeping?
