Losing Him
I was planning to sulk all day when someone entered my room. I looked at that someone. My eyes rolled. Ugh. He's here again.
"Princess..." he trailed off.
"What do you want?" I asked flatly.
He sat beside me. We're sitting on the edge of my bed.
"I just want to be with you."
I closed my eyes to prevent my tears. "You're just saying it for now." I whispered.
"Princess, I know that what I've done is not forgivable. But I regret that day." He cupped my face. "I'll do everything for you to love me back."
I could see sincerity in his eyes. No, I have to fight my feelings to prevent ourselves from more pain.
"Prince, can't you see? The fate is against us. We can't be together. God has better plans for you."
He shook his head. Pinagdikit niya ang mga noo namin. "No Princess, we are meant to be."
Iniwas ko ang paningin ko sa kaniya at humiga patalikod. I can feel the intensity of his stare at my back.
"Just go, Prince. I need don't need you." I closed my eyes.
"Pri-"
"It's the first day of classes. Just go!"
I heard him sighed. It took him few seconds before leaving the room.
A tear escaped my eyes. This is the day, Prince will lose his love for me.
