I walk up to the roof feeling woozy with Jc behind me.
“Nothing it was just a friendly kiss.” That means were just friends… nothing more. I should just give up and stop trying he doesn’t like me, not in that way.
I put the snacks down and we talk about things. Common things. TV shows, movies, school. I begin to start telling a funny story but then he interrupts me.
“What are we Peyton?” he asks
I build up a lot of courage to say; “We are best friends”
“#FriendZoned” I tried to joke but he didn’t laugh. We stayed quiet. But then we eventually fell asleep.
Then sun started coming up.
“Hey Rubylocks wake up”
“Oh hey what time is it?”
“8”
“Hey wanna go to the mall today? Hope you brought Rasta.”
“Yeah I did”
“Ima go take a shower” I walked down the stairs to my room and see Andrea stuffing clothes into her bag.
“Aw are you leaving?”
“Yeah with Trevor Sam and Kian. I’m sorry.”
“Aw okay I’ll text you bye”
“Bye”
I walk into my bathroom and find no clean towels. I go downstairs to also see Connor and Ricky leaving.
“Aw Guys give me hugs. Listen I might be graduating early I got all my credits so I may be able to hang out more often.”
“But then you got college.” Connor says while hugging me.
“I might not go to college. I mean why not? I don’t need money coz my parent are fuck--- friggin millionaires! And I’ve already got really good education” I said while letting go of Connor to open up to Ricky.
“Well whatever you do choose wisely” said Ricky. Then they left.
Crap I can’t find a clean towel anywhere! Maybe there is some in the guest bathroom. I walk in there to find Jc’s half naked (top half).
I feel the blood rushing to my cheeks.
“Is there any clean towels in the bathroom?” I ask.
“Yeah let me go get them.” He left the room.
OhMiGod I don’t know why I’m acting like this I have seen his body before!
“Here” he said throwing a towel to me
“Btw it is just gonna be us” “Okay”

I and Jc have a really fun time at the mall. We skated there and back.
“Hey wanna go to the Hollywood sign” I asked
“Err are you sure it is a school night for you and it is pretty far?”
“It’s alright I’ll drive”
“Okay let’s go girl” He said sounding like Ricky.
So Jc and I drive up uptown to the Hollywood sign. I parked near a closed down shop.
We went up to the Hollywood sign and sat and talked. We took pictures for instagram. And Jc vlogged. When we went back down to go home my car was broken into.
