luke twiddled with his index finger on his left hand, spinning the ring on it. he sighed as he stared at it. he was 18 years old and was wearing a purity ring. he hated it.

"hey luke whatcha doin?" calum asks as he enters Luke's room and jumps on his bed next to him.

luke tears his hand away as if he was caught jerking off.

"what was that for?" calum laughed and raised an eyebrow.

"what was what?" luke asked innocently.

"you jerked your hand away when I walked in."

"oh- nothing you just startled me is all," luke chuckled nervously and looked down.

"okay then," calum shrugged, not buying Luke's act at all.

calum got on his phone and laid out on Luke's bed, Luke laying down beside him.

"cal?" luke mumbled quietly after a couple minutes of comfortable silence.

"yeah Lukey?"

"do you think it's stupid that I have a purity ring?"

calum rolls his eyes and grabs Luke's hand, running his fingers over the ring, "of course not Luke. quit thinking badly about it, it's good that you haven't fucked a lot of guys... or girls.." he trailed off with a chuckle.

Luke smiled, "I just haven't done anything. I've had a kiss but that's it, nobody likes me enough to fuck me. I'm not ready but that's because I've never had anyone to love to make me feel ready you know?"

Calum frowned, and he entwined their fingers together.

"first Lucas, id gladly fuck you, second, have you even tried for a relationship? and third, how the fuck can someone not love you, like really? you're perfect," calum smiled and when he saw Luke's shocked face at the first statement.

"I'm kidding, I wouldn't fuck you," calum started and smirked at Luke's frowny face, "id make sweet love to you for your first time, then id fuck you."

Luke giggled and hid his face in Calum's neck, "but for real," he chuckled after his fit of giggles, "I don't wanna be a virgin forever. I'm eighteen years old!"

"then let me fuck you," Calum bluntly stated.

Luke's eyes widened once he realized calum was being serious, "b-but we aren't even in a relationship."

"we don't have to be," calum rolled his eyes and leaned up on his elbow, "I mean a lot to you right?"

Luke nodded slowly.

"and you mean a lot to me, I love you and that's all that matters." calum reached forward and ran his hands through Luke's freshly cut hair.

Luke bit his lip nervously.

"we can be each other's firsts," calum stated quickly after luke looked like he was about to protest.

"but you're not a virgin."

"yeah but it'll be the first time it would mean something to me.." Calum blushed.

Luke blushed too. he mumbled an okay and was about to pull off his purity ring when calum stopped him with a smirk, "keep it on, it's kinda hot."
