Hey everyone! I know it's been a while since I last updated, but here it is.

This chapter is dedicated to @doshiriya25

"It's not about whether you win or lose, it's about how you play the game."

--Unknown.

Ever heard of the domino effect? No? Don't worry. Life will tell you all about it just fine.

There comes a time in your life when something bad happens. And then there's something worse that follows, and then something even worse. It's like your whole life is crumbling down in front of your eyes, but you're held captive by your own demons, as you stand helpless, unable to do anything but watch. There are times in your life when you lose a few things, and then a few more, and then nearly everything altogether.

You wonder what you did to deserve this sudden binge cleaning.

But, sometimes, it is this sudden, unexpected purging that is good for you. Needed, even.

It feels good to eliminate things which you don't need or want. But it kills when those things which you love, get eliminated too.

But that's life for you.

Sometimes, it may so happen that you lose something you so wanted to win, or deserved to, at least.

But you didn't win it, achieve it.

Why? To me, it's pretty obvious. There's something better, something bigger in store for you. Something else that's meant to take your life by storm.

Here's a piece of news for you.

The bad part? Nothing lasts forever. Had you achieved something, all you would've got was momentary satisfaction and a soothing balm to your flaming ego.

The good part? Nothing lasts forever. All those bad times when you're losing everything, when everything feels wrong and it's like the whole world is conspiring to bring you down, remember, nothing lasts forever. So this hurricane will pass too.

Nobody can bring you down. The whole world can stand against you, wishing with all their might to bring you down, but they'll fail miserably if, and only if, you won't let them do so.

You're stronger than you'll ever know. There's a power in your decisions, in your choices, that you may never notice, but the world can see it, as if it's right there, in broad daylight.

There are some things in life that you'll never get. Either because you don't deserve them, or because they were never meant for you in the first place.

But don't you dare remain stuck in that one moment when you didn't get something. Know that there's something even better that's waiting for you.

Maybe that love was never meant to be. Maybe that victory was never to be tasted by you. Maybe that's not how you were meant to leave your mark in this world.

And you're allowed to cry. You're allowed to be angry. You're allowed to grieve for that which you didn't get. But you're not allowed to lose yourself in your attempts to get back something which has already passed and will never come back.

Look for the good in the bad. It'll be difficult, it may even seem impossible in the beginning. But do it anyway. If not for anything else, do it to convince yourself, do it to give yourself fake reassurances.

Eventually, if you fake it hard enough, long enough, maybe it'll end up becoming real.

We're all just tiny beings in huge world, and a ginormous galaxy.

We're tiny specks in that huge canvas.

So stop taking things too seriously.

Yes, things will hurt you. Yes, people will try to bring you down. Yes, it will feel like the world is ending. And yes, you'll get over it. Because you just gotta. Eventually, over time, you'll forgive and forget.

Did you know that time doesn't really heal old wounds? It simply creates new memories, so that they fill the voids the old ones left.

You'll never forget your past. It will always be there in your subconscious memory. All your losses, wins, triumphs, glory, downfalls, they will all remain there, always.

But those memories will lay dormant till you give them the power to destroy your present.

Nobody, nobody can be your doom except you. It's all you. Because it's you who gives the power to yourself to let your past rule your present and future. It's you who gives the power to yourself to waste time, grieving and wishing for something that was never meant to be yours in the first place.

But it's also you who gives the power to yourself to be happy.

It's you and only you who can rule yourself. You're your own ruler and your own kingdom.

You will be what you were born to be. And you will take the world by storm. In your own way. You will change the world. You will leave your mark and you will create the legacy you were always meant to.

But, remember, sometimes, those ways aren't your usual ones.

Maybe it's 'unconventional' that you were meant to be.

Or maybe, it's the 'extraordinary in the ordinary' that defines you.

Whatever it may be, remember that you are you. And there's nobody out there who can even claim mildly of being you, or even like you. You're unique, you're special, you're different in your own way.

Take the world by storm, create havoc. Let this storm rage quietly as it changes the course of mankind, or let it roar its way through as it changes the minds of people.

Stop comparing yourself to others. Nobody's been through what you have, just like you haven't been through what they have.

Remember, you can never be like them, because you're too busy being you.

Here's an amazing thought : The best days of your life are yet to come.

So don't let these little losses get in your way as you work for achieving that big win that's waiting out there, screaming at you, waiting for you to claim it.

Things will come and go. But life? Life will always move on.

Don't forget to keep up.
