Chapter 13

Toms' POV

As soon as I locked my room to leave for the party..I got a call from Richard.

"Hey Richie..!! How are you man? How was your vacation..?" I asked him.

"I am good Tom..How are you? And what is going on between you and Samantha..? Are you guys dating.?" Richard said on phone and a big smile placed on my face hearing her name

"Not now Richard..I am gonna tell her my feelings today. And I hope she loves me back." I said

"You can't expect a girl to love you in just fourteen days of meeting you..are you crazy.." he said in sarcasm

"I don't expect her to love me back in a fortnight..!! I am gonna give her time and go easy on her Richie..!!" I told him

"But are you sure that you love her or is it just mere attraction..? You too can't fall in love in fourteen days..you don't know each other and..." he stopped in mid sentence

"Richie..I know Rose since childhood and still I don't have feelings for her..We are friends and I love her..but there is a difference between loving someone and being in love..!!" I explained

"Tom..I am not saying that..I am just trying to ask you how have you fallen so early.." Richard said

"Richie..I stayed with Rose for eight years..you stay with a person for years  and you still are not able to feel the connection and you see a person once but you can feel..yes this is the person and you feel a connection..heart to heart or soul to soul..!!" I explained him

"Big words man..that girl has changed you competely..see you soon buddy..!!" Richard said

"See you Richie..!!" I disconnected

I went to the party soon after disconnecting the call. I stood there with Mr.Richardson whose company we were soon going to take over. We were going to make great profits by taking over his textile mills.

I was having a drink with Mr. Richardson when I saw Samantha and Brett walking hand in hand to the party. She looked beautiful and I don't have words to describe her beauty but this was not that mattered to me at that time. Brett was what that mattered. Samantha was innocent..she didn't know what kind of man Brett was. But I need to tell her that.

My gaze shifted to what Mr. Richard was saying but I excused myself so that I can talk to Samantha. Soon I saw Brett leaving Samantha alone to get a drink and I walked to her.

She gave me a smile when she saw me approaching. She had a lovely smile and a dimple formed on her cheek.

"You look beautiful..!!" I commented her

"And you look handsome..!!" She commented back

"Samantha..I waned to say..uhh..!!" She had a confused expression on her face

"What are you trying to say Mr.Adams..?" She asked me

"Brett is not the right guy for you..he has a cassanova type image and I suggest you to stay away from him." I said

"And who are you to tell me that.." a tear rolled down her eyes

" Mr.Adams will you please stop interfaring in my life..all this is totally my decision and I don't want your suggestions..I respect your drama..but you are nothing to me..you are my boss..!!" With her teary eyes she left the party hall and I stood there helpless.

After I realized that I had to find her..I started my search operation..I looked for her everywhere but I finally found her in the balcony with Brett..

They two were hugging each other and then they both closed there eyes and drowned themselves into a deep and passionate kiss..the were so busy in themselves that they didn't realise I was watching them.

I was broken..the ground skipped my foot and my world had shaken. How could Samantha possibly do that. I thought she loved me or I just misunderstood her feelings.

I was falling on my knees but I took support of the nearby table and the vase kept on it fall down.

They both turned to look at me..the breaking of vase gave them a break from there passionate kiss. But I was devastated. I left the party and went to my room.

Frustrated..I sat on bed. How can she not fall for me? Did she not find me good..? Am I that bad..?

I was angry...all I needed was alcohol. I went to the bar and drunk the hell out of myself..continuously staring at the glass..tears started rolling down my cheeks. Suddenly the visual of them kissing each other flashed my mind and I threw the glass on the floor and started sobbing again.

She doesn't want me..then I don't want her too..This girl will find the beast hidden within Tom Adams..
