Chapter 16

Toms' POV
I saw blood all over her hand..a glass piece had pierced inside her wrist and she was unconscious.

I tried to wake her up but she didn't respond to my actions..I was thunderstruck..I need to take her to hospital. I took her in my arms and we lead to our driver..I asked him to wait at the hotel while I drove the car to a nearby hospital. I know I was in Paris amd I stayed here for almost 10 years of my life. Within 10 minutes of me driving we reached the hospital.

I sat outside in the corridor while the doctors examined her and then the doctor came out..

"The glass piece which you took out had accidentially cut her vein and there is a lot of blood loss..we need to provide her with blood support.." The doctor told

"Why is she still unconscious..?" I asked

"Due to blood loss..but don't worry..she will be fine.." he said

I sat on the couch in her room..thinking about what state Samantha was in is all because of me..If I had taken a stand at that moment..I wouldn't have let her drink and she would have been fine..I had decided to keep my distance from her but now..I had to be with her..she had no family.

I woke up when my phone vibrated..the call was from Brett..

"Sir..!! Where are you and Samantha..We have to leave for NYC today..!!" He said

"Brett I am at the hospital..Samantha is unconscious..!!" I said

"What..!! How..? When..?" His words irritated me

I told him everything and the address to the hospital.

Samantha was still sleeping or maybe unconscious..I talked to the doctor about shifting her to NYC and he agreed..We were leaving in the afternoon after completing all the formalities which Brett did and finally we sat in my private airplane and took the flight.

It had been one hour since I had been watching Samantha sleep..She had dark circles around her eyes..She had turned pale and her skin was dry. The area where the glass pierced her skin was covered with a bandage.

Watching her sleep in silence..my eyes to shut down and I was too enveloped in a blanket of deep sleep and when I opened my eyes I saw Samantha staring at me with her beautiful eyes

"How long have you been awake..? " i asked her looking at my Rolex

"Since past 45 minutes..!!" She said.."How long have you been sitting here..??" She asked

"Till u went into your state of unconsciousness..I have been with you.!" I told her and she smiled

"I am sorry to keep you occupied..!!" She said and I smirked

"Maybe I should be sorry for the state you were in..Its all because of me..!!" I said

"Yeah..!! I believe it was partially your mistake.." she said with a smirk

"It was only 10% of my mistake.." i said defending myself

"No..50 yours and 50 hers.." She said

"That's so mean.." I said teasing her

"You 40 her 60..!!" She said teasing me back

"Me 30 hers 70..!!" I said trying to take a upper hand in the convo

"Yeah..10% compensation for saving me..!!" She said and I smiled

There was a 10 minute silence when she started reading the newspaper. And the silence broke when she said

"Tom...!! Thank you.." and she smiled

"Anytime baby..!!" I said and began to work on my laptop

Samanthas' POV

He called me baby..Oh my..!! Did he seriously adressed me like that..

I was blushing hard..maybe I turned into a Tomato..!!

"You look good while blushing..!" He said and I turned my face to the other side..still blushing

"Stop blushing..or I will die seeing you like that.." he said

"I am hungry Tom..!!" I said trying to change the topic.

He ordered food for us..and after 15 minutes I had the worlds most tasteless food infront of me

"What's this..?" I asked him

"Your food..you were hungry right..? " he said with a smirk

"Yeah..but I won't eat this.." I said

"You have to eat this..the doctor has advised you this.." he said

"Soup and salad..this is not food..these are starters..i won't eat this.." i said and pushed the plates away

"Yes..you will..!!" He said

"No..I won't..!!" I said

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes" and he frowned

"Okay..!! I will have it" i said

"Samantha 0 Tom 10..!!" I teased her

What has happened to this guy I asked myself while having my salad..sometimes he is too rude and sometimes too sweet..!! You can't really understand him.
Just yesterday he was shouting at me for no reason at 5 in the morning and now he is taking care of me and talking normally. Something is seriously wrong with his brain..?

I saw him staring at me and smirking from the corner of my eyes..

"What are you gaping at..?" I asked him

"The different faces you make when that soup touches ur tongue..!!" He said teasing me

"You will make more sarcastic faces if you eat this lifeless food..you joker..!" I said teasing him

"What did you just say.." he asked

"You are a joker..!!" I sang these words

"Me and a joker..!!" He said

And thise five hours passed teasing and talking about our likes and dislikes..!!

We were back in NYC
