Chapter 20: What Just Happened?

Seeing that they were alone, the students started talking to each other, mulling over what they will pick.

"I want to go to the easiest class, the class of Mammon-san." Miyu said while starring at her nails to see if any was broken because of the tests they did before. "I already reek of sweat and that is, in no way, good. Plus, the teacher is hot so I might have a chance with him."

"But Mammon-san's face is covered with a hood, how do you his/her gender?" her friend, Sada asked with a curious look. "Could it be that you can guess the correct gender of other people?"

"Of course not, fool." Miyu said with a roll of her eyes. "It's just that his build is for a man with muscles."

"Couldn't it be possible for a girl to be muscular?" Reina asked when she overheard the conversation between two friends.

"Please." Miyu said with a roll of her eyes. "This is why you aren't popular. You're too stupid to understand the build type of people."

Reina stared at her with a raised brow. "You know what, I wanted to be kind and talk to you but you being a b*tch about it just made me give up." 

She then left, leaving the two friends to mock her. Tsuna, who saw this, approached her while thinking of cheering her up. Because she never bullied him, like the rare few in his class, and helped him with things, they started to become acquaintances (not friends cause he always spend time with his guardians while she usually went everywhere).

"You okay?" he asked when he reached her, only to be shocked by her angry face. Her gray eyes were formed into a glare as she kept scratching her black hair, messing up her low twin tails.

"What!" she snapped, only to apologize when she saw who it was. "Oh! Sorry, Tsunayoshi-san."

"No, it's fine, you just surprised me." he said after flinching a little from her voice, not used at seeing her scream. "Anyway, you okay?"

"Yep." she said with a smile, her lips turning playful. "Just thinking of how to get revenge for everyone she bullied."

"Eh?" Tsuna blinked in confusion, causing her to realize something. 

"Oh, right, you don't know. Well, she bullies girls from the school, especially our class, just because she has money and little looks." she clarified for him.

"Were you bullied?" Tsuna asked in concern for his acquaintance which caused her to laugh a little. 

"Of course not!" she replied with a small smirk. "If she did, then she should say her prayers quickly as I will send her far away from earth."

Tsuna suddenly became aware that Reina, one of his few acquaintances that is not involved in the mafia, can also be cruel when needed. Actually, he thinks that she is far scarier than Reborn when she is furious because the ideas she create as punishments involve not only physical hurting but also emotionally and sanity. 

"I...I see." Tsuna nod. "And what do you plan for her?" 

"Nothing much~" she said in a sing-song voice. "I'll just take the same class she will and, probably, teach her how to become stronger."

 "Alright." Tsuna said when he saw everyone leaving the gymnasium. "Anyway, see you around."

"Bye!" she said before following Miyu and her friend to class without them noticing. Tsuna's gaze lingered at her for a moment before turning away to find his class.

"Reborn." he said as he stared at the list. "I know that you were listening in on our conversation. Do you think she has the skills to be..."

Tsuna didn't need to continue as Reborn understood him.

"I didn't know you like to expand your family, Tsuna." he teased before putting his fedora down. "But yes, she has the potential to be one of the best torturers in the mafia."

"I knew it." he said with a thinking face. "Let's go, Reborn."

Reborn stared at Tsuna with an unreadable face before following him, a frown pasted on his face.

'It's saddening to see you face your fate head-to-head, Tsuna.' Reborn thought as they neared Fon's class. 'But this is how a mafia boss should act.'

"I brought your student, Fon." Reborn told Fon when he opened the door of the class. "I'm leaving."

"Thank you for bringing me here, Boreen-sensei." Tsuna said with a smile as he went to an empty seat. 

"Okay, now that everyone is here, let's begin our first lesson." Fon said and started to teach them martial arts. 

This is how two weeks passed by peacefully and now, only one and a half weeks is left before Tsuna and his guardians take the throne as the tenth generation of Vongola.  

In the lawn where they did their morning routine, loud cheering could be heard. It was so loud that some of the servants and arcobalenos looked out to see what was going on.

"We did it!" all of the students cheered in happiness as they finally finished doing the exercises before the deadline. Reborn and Tsuna looked at them with a proud face (subtly) while the Vongola gang looked at them in amazement. After all, knowing their classmates from before, it was impossible for them to succeed. However, when they think about the passed few weeks the class has been there, they noticed that the class changed for the better like Nezu who was mean and arrogant from the beginning and turned kind and humble now. However, the biggest change that shocked them all was Miyu, the arrogant and prideful girl who looked down on others and hated sweating was now easygoing and loved to exercise all thanks to Reina who slowly but surely made Miyu work harder by mocking her for being weak. Now, they are friends who sparred on regular basis (everybody decided that the best way for them to learn and beat the deadline of their morning exercises was to take each class). Thus, after days of hard work and almost dying of exhaustion, they finally grew stronger and kinder as they experienced hell together. In fact, it shocked Tsuna and his guardians with how they apologized to him after one week of hellish training. 

"We're sorry for making your life suck in the past, Da-Sawada-san." Miyu, one of his worst bullies, confronted him with all of his bullies from their class in the middle of break time while bowing their heads lowly. "We know that simply saying sorry is not enough so we decided that we will do our best to make it up to you."

"Make it up to me?" Tsuna asked in bewilderment, shocked that his bullies apologized to him.

"We still don't know how to make it up to you." Sada said while everyone glanced at each other. "So, if you have an idea, please tell us."

"Ah...sure." Tsuna answered without thinking, still staring at them in surprise.

"Well, then, we will go to our next class now, Sawada-san." Isao said before they all left.

"What just happened?" Tsuna murmured in confusion while looking at their backs before deciding to tell everyone else what happened.
