Chapter 18: The Talk and Teachers

The next day, before the sun rose, six people arrived inside the mansion and went to the special elevator designed to be used only by the chosen ones before pressing Z, the lowest floor in the entire mansion. When the door opened, they got out and headed straight to the only room that existed before knocking on the door thrice. 

"Come in." a voice from inside the room commanded and the six entered before bowing, some a little hesitant. "Welcome, Arcobalenos. Or, should I say, former arcobalenos."

"Good morning, Nono-sama." the arcobalenos greeted before raising their heads without permission. Truthfully, the only reason they bowed is because they respected him. However, they rose their heads without permission because they know that Nono doesn't mind it. 

"Oh? Vongola Primo, his guardians, and Tsunayoshi are here?" Verde asked. 

"Lal too." Colonello added.

"Yes." Nono answered. "I believe that they should listen to what you will report."

"I see." Fon said with a calm smile before turning serious. "Then, I shall begin. Recently, many members of the small famiglias living in China are either meeting with other famiglias from other countries or travelling to meet them."

"It seems that the passive famiglias are also joining them." Colonello continued. "They would often meet and discuss about things and they would, more often then not, shake hands as proof that they will cooperate together."

"Of course, there are some famiglias loyal to us but how long will they remain until they get pressured?" Mammon said. 

Everyone looked at each other in unease, knowing full well the damages that will happen if their enemies decided to team up. Yes, they were all small or medium-sized famiglias that can't harm the Vongola but if they work together, then some damages will be bound to happen. 

"Actually," Tsuna suddenly spoke up with sad eyes. "I have a classmate that's from the enemy famiglia."

"Eh?" everyone exclaimed in shock and disbelief.

"And you didn't think of telling us?" Lal asked in disbelief as Tsuna laughed awkwardly. 

"Well, I wanted to try and change his side first before I tell you." Tsuna answered while scratching his cheeks. "Since he is forced to do it."

"I see." Nono said as everyone in the room nod in understanding. After all, Tsuna might be cruel right now but he's still the same kind version of himself.

"Wait." Verde realized something. "Since when did you know that your classmate was part of an enemy famiglia?"

"...um...haha?" Tsuna said while averting his eyes, causing everyone to realize something.

"Could it be that the reason you asked us to give your classmates physical punishments instead of mental ones is because you anticipated us to fight the enemy while they are here?" Skull asked in amazement.

"Well, I wanted them to at least protect themselves properly and not be useless baggage's when the time comes." he answered with a small smile.

"But what about the good ones? They never trained their bodies beside the morning exercises." Reborn said.

"That's why I wanted to talk to the arcobalenos and asked if you guys are willing to train them in fighting and using weapons. Of course, I'm also taking my revenge so could you be strict?"

The arcobalenos looked at each other before smirking and replying in unison. "It would be our pleasure."

"By the way, do you know the mastermind of this war?" Giotto asked Tsuna who only smiled sadly.

"It's the Defunois famiglia." everyone's eyes widened a little in shock.

"Y-you mean the famiglia of her?" Asari asked with dark eyes.

"I knew they were part of it but to be the leader...has the boss finally gained a brain?" Fon said.

"No, the boss was replaced after he was killed by his brother." Tsuna answered.

"And how do you know this?" Reborn asked in suspicion and Tsuna smirked.

"Being a dame doesn't mean I spent my entire time without doing anything, Reborn. I tried learning hacking and found out I was good at it when I found a hacking manual on the ground next to a dead body." he replied.

"Since when have you learned hacking, Tsuna-kun?" Knuckle asked in curiosity.

"Even since eleven, I think. I usually studied and improved my skills whenever I can." he answered.

"So that's the reason why you kept failing your tests until I arrived, dame-Tsuna." Reborn said while Leon transformed into a gun.

"Of course not!" Tsuna answered. "I just never understood the topics properly."

"Anyway," Nono interrupted the two. "it's time you head back as it's almost time for your morning exercise."

Everyone looked at the clock and realized it was true and decided to bid goodbyes before leaving the room.

"Bye, see you later!" Tsuna said as he exited the room and headed to the lawn where they held their morning exercise and was not surprised to see everyone there as he barely made it on time. He quickly took a pair of wheels and stood beside his friends who looked at him in relief.

"Where were you, Tsuna?" Yamamoto asked. "We were looking for you."

"Sorry, I had to talk to Nono about some things before heading here." Tsuna apologized which everyone accepted, knowing how hard it is for Tsuna as he was going to lead the Vongola in about three and a half-weeks from now. Reborn then appeared and fired his Leon gun in the sky, signaling for them to run. To their surprise, their classmates and teacher improved quiet a bit, being able to finish more then four laps this time around before being exhausted. Of course, they still failed and had to do the punishments but at least they were improving.

"I have a feeling that they will finish this exercise before three weeks if they continue having their strong will." Tsuna whispered as he looked at his class in approval before heading to the dining room to eat. A few minutes later, when everyone was almost done eating, his class appeared with happy smiles on their weary faces as their bodies stank of sweat, glad that they finally made it in time to eat. Reborn also nodded in approval, seeing that his training and tutoring paid off. Nono waited for them to finish eating before making an announcement.

"Starting today, you will all learn self-defense before dinner." he said while everyone listened attentively. "And your teachers will be them."

Right on cue, the arcobalenos appeared from the doors and stood behind Nono.

"Introduce yourselves." Nono ordered and they followed.

"Ni hao, I am Fon." Fon said as everyone took notice of his gorgeous looks that was a tad too similar to a certain prefect and his clothes. 

"I'm Skull!" Skull said as everybody stared at his face full of makeup in wonder. 

"Yare yare, I already introduced myself before." Mammon said as the class nod, vaguely remembering him with their tour guides.

"Verde." the class grew excited, knowing that Verde was a famous scientist who helped created a lot of things for Vongola and the world. It was said his whereabouts were unknown but for him to be in Vongola...how big is their power? And the boss is part of their class? Wow.

"Colonello, kora!" he exclaimed before being hit in the head by a familiar female. 

"Shut up!" she hissed before staring at them in boredom. She then looked at a certain male and smirked cruelly. "I'm Lal as you all know."

Xander saw her smirk and gulped, regretting his choices from before. 

"These are your teachers starting from today until the end." Nono said as the room began to feel cold. Maybe it's just their imagination. Yeah, let's deny the shivering of their spines and blame imagination for that.
