Chapter 29: The Whole Truth Revealed

There was awkward silence in the air. The Vongola and Shimon looked at each other with shock and unease, helpless to do anything but to stare at the crying man in front of them as they tried to process what he just said. The students, on the other hand, were very confused. First, a purple something flew towards Tsuna who disappeared in a puff of smoke. Second, a man who looks like Tsuna, which is impossible cause...like, logic?, appears. Third, said man is crying after saying that the others were dead. Like, what?

"Um, Excuse me." Ichika said, breaking the silence. "Who are you and where is Sawada-san?"

The atmosphere changed into a tensed one as the Vongola and Shimon looked at each other. How can they explain the bazooka without giving away anything suspicious? Fortunately, TYL Tsuna decided to speak, his tears vanishing like it was never there.

"Hahaha." he laughed with a big smile on his face. "Hello, dear guests. I am the magician Tsuyano and I just did a magic trick where I vanished one of your classmates and appear as them. Sadly, I think I look too old to be your classmate, Tsunayoshi was it, so I messed up my trick. Sorry~"

"Ah." the students said in acceptance.

"That's amazing!" Rei said in awe. "But what do you mean by 'dead'?"

"Oh, that." TYL Tsuna said. "It was a prank to wake all the sleepy heads up. After all, it would be boring if people sleep, right?"

"True." students murmured to one another.

"Anyway, I'll be making your classmate appear again in one, two.."

*Poof*

Tsuna, their Tsuna, appeared with an angry look as the smoke dispersed. He glared at each of his guardians one by one before whispering something that only the Vongola and Shimon can hear.

"I will be having a long talk with all of you later." they looked at each other, confused. Why does Tsuna sound angry? Didn't he learn that they died in the future or did he not. Either way, they just nod to appease him. They can clarify everything later night.

"Anyway, Sawada-san." Okemia said with a frown. "We've been disturbed many times so I'm going to ask directly before anything else happens. Who were the people who attacked us?"

"They were just n-" Ren interrupts Tsuna with a frown.

"And you can't make any excuses like it's a prank or whatever because they had real guns and weapons with them. Heck, some even had colorful flames in their hands and/or feet and hands?! Oh, and your friends had it too. So, care to explain?"

"I think that we should ask Vongola Nono." Tsuna calmly said, too tired to even think of an excuse. Thus, they headed to Vongola Nono's office where everyone else was in, waiting for them.

"Excuse us." the students said in unison when they entered, sitting on the couches provided for them or, at least that's what Giotto-san said.

"So, ask your questions away, students." Nono said from his table. The students looked at each other before pushing Miyu to speak. After all, she was the boldest one among them all.

"Um, Nono-sama." she started. "W-we were wondering who those people who attacked us were and why they had colorful flames in their heads/arms and feet."

"Well, we can't explain that unless you swear to secrecy." Nono calmly said before turning serious. "Each of you have to know though that if you do swear to secrecy, what you hear will change your life and might even endanger yourselves and your family."

The students looked at each other in worry and fear. If the Vongola ninth is this serious, then the explanation must be a deep secret. But... they nod at each other before turning to Nono with determined faces.

"We still want to know, Nono-sama." Yuri said with resolution. "It might endanger us and harm us or even kill us but...wouldn't it be the same even if we are ignorant of it? I mean, let's take today for example. We don't know what happened but some people decided to attack us and we still got shock."

"What she means, Nono-sama," Sada said while calming down the flustered Yuri. "is that not knowing anything would bring the same amount of danger in our lives. Thus, it is better to be prepared."

Nono subtly glanced at Tsuna who nod, accepting their wish. 

"If that is what you all want." he sighs before standing up. "Then repeat what I say as you swear in ometra. Remember, if you break your promise, you will live a life worse than death."

The students gulped before nodding and repeating what Nono said. The moment they finished, the air got colder and the Vindice, consisting of Bermuda (in child form as he has to keep putting night flames to the machine to keep it going) and two guards appeared.

"Vongola Nono and guardians, Decimo and guardians." Bermuda greeted the two. "Primo and guardians. Reborn. Shimon Decimo and guardians."

Each of the mentioned nod and greeted him back. He nod back before looking at the class.

"I bare witness to the promise of these people. If they break the ometra, they shall be captured with no exceptions." he stated before exiting through the portal, causing the class to sigh in relief as he scared them. Nono turned to the students before opening his mouth to start the explanation.

*Once the explanation was done*

The students only stared blankly at the wall, their brain fried from all the knowledge they received. Nono saw this and spoke again.

"Seeing as you are all tired, I think it is time for you to rest for the rest of the day. We shall be seeing each other again tomorrow in breakfast before you will have the day to shop for clothes or anything else as the ceremony will be held three days later." Nono said and everyone just blankly nod, leaving silently.

Tsuna then blinked, realizing something. "Where is Nezu-sensei, by the way. I haven't seen him."

"He's in the mall shopping for souvenirs for his family." Reborn answered. "You're too slow, dame-Tsuna. He's been gone since yesterday."

"Oh." Tsuna just nod.

"Juudaime, do you think it was the right choice for them to hear the truth?" Gokudera asked in concern. Tsuna simply laugh.

"Don't worry, Gokudera-kun." he said with a bright smile. "I have a feeling that it will be alright."

"If you say so." he whispered, still unsure.

"By the way, Giotto-san." Tsuna said, turning to face the first generation. "When will you all be returning to the rings?"

"Don't worry, Tsunayoshi-kun." he said. "We will be returning after your ceremony."

Tsuna nod again in understanding before remembering something.

"Oh yeah, I have to talk to you guys." Tsuna said while glaring at each of his guardians again, causing them to gulp.

'What did we do wrong?!' they all thought in despair.
