Chapter 26: The War Ends

"Sa.....yomi?" Yamamoto asked in a shocked voice as everyone stopped fighting, looking at the scene in front of them with either interest or pity. However, the person, with long black, kind of brown, hair and gray eyes with a hamlet on her hands, didn't answer but only looked at him with a black look which hurt his heart. "Do..do you not recognize me?"

Sayomi still did not answer, choosing instead to look to the enemy boss who simply smirked at Yamamoto's pained look. 

"Come now, Sayomi, it's bad manners to ignore the person who loves you." the boss cruelly said. "Why don't you greet him properly?"

"...Hello again, Take-Yamamoto-san." she softly greeted, her voice a little hoarse. Instinctively, Yamamoto tried to approach her, only to stop when she took a step back as Tsuna grabbed his arms. Tsuna then glared at the boss with hateful eyes.

"You're such a sick b*stard, Akuro." the boss, Akuro, only laughed in delight, madness flashing in his eyes.

"Oh, Decimo, this is just karma." he explained. "After all, isn't it just right for someone close to you to experience the same thing you people did to me?"

"What?" Tsuna asked which caused Akuro to get mad.

"Stop pretending!" he yelled. "You heartless people are the same, easily forgetting the people you killed! Let's stop this worthless conversation. Attack!"

The fighting began again with Akuro and Sayomi joining the fray. Akuro attacked Tsuna who was not in HDWM and was glaring at him in anger as Sayomi attacked Yamamoto who was half-heartedly defending himself. The two continued fighting like that until Sayomi grew angry.

"What the f*ck, Takeshi? Aren't you angry at me for leaving you? For breaking your heart and trying to kill you? Why aren't you attacking me and just uselessly defending yourself!" she shouted, swinging her hamlet in random directions. However, Yamamoto did not answer, switching their positions from awhile ago. This caused Sayomi to grow madder and put more energy into hitting him. "Takeshi!"

Meanwhile, Tsuna and Akuro's fight was the opposite of theirs. If Sayomi and Yamamoto's fight was half-hearted, Tsuna and Akuro's were quick and full-hearted.

"Die!" Akuro shouted, attempting to punch Tsuna's face. However, Tsuna dodged and retaliated with a high kick to his chin which succeeded. Akuro lost his balance and took a few steps back, spitting out some blood from his mouth. Tsuna did not give him time to rest as he threw out quick punches and kicks which all succeeded to hit its intended target.

"Such a big mouth for a loser like you." Tsuna mocked as Akuro grabbed his ribs. He glared at Tsuna before activating his sky flames which caused Tsuna to smirk and activating his own. "Finally serious? And all it took were a couple of blows to make you fight full-force."

"Don't blame me for killing Vongola's only heir to the throne." Akuro smirked. "Because he asked for it. See, this is their fault. Because of their stupidity, the proud Vongola will fall."

"No, it's your family that will fall." Tsuna said as he activated his x-burner and shot it. "Today." 

It hit Akuro who flew in between Yamamoto and Sayomi, stopping their useless fight. Akuro stood up with a frown, knowing that he could never beat the Vongola if he doesn't use any underhanded method. He looked around for anything to use and landed on Sayomi and a smirk appeared on his lips. He ran towards her and held her hostage, his hands grabbing the hidden knife he hid on his pants' pocket.

"Don't move or else." he sliced a little skin on her neck which caused it to bleed. immediately, Yamamoto stopped fighting, looking at Tsuna with a desperate look which caused him to sigh, turning his HDWM off as everyone else stopped fighting.

'Love.' Tsuna thought with a sigh. 

"You have everything you want now." Tsuna said. "So what now?"

Akuro looked at them with a kind smile and lowered the knife from her neck. "Did you really think that I would stop hurting her when you all obeyed me? Of course I will, I'm not that evil."

He then gave a crazy smirk as he pointed the knife to Sayomi's stomach and stab it. "Not! I'm just more cruel!" 

He let go of her and laugh happily as Yamamoto hurriedly rush towards her who was crumpled in pain. "Sayomi!"

"T-Takeshi-kun." she simply smiled, ignoring the pain coming from the wound. "I'm sorry."

"No, no, no." he repeated, ignoring her words as Asari, Knuckle and Reborn came to help after knocking out their enemies. Asari used his rain flames to calm Yamamoto's panic as Knuckle and Reborn tried to heal her. "You're going to make it out alive, okay, so don't speak. You can talk all you want when you're all healed."

Tsuna looked at Yamamoto's shaking form and saw red, reactivating his HDWM and using his flames to reach Akuro who was simply laughing madly quickly. Tsuna stretched out his right arm as he neared him and grabbed his face, pushing forward until he slammed it in the wall. He still found it unsatisfying so he turned around and pushed forward again, the only difference is that his hand is now in flames which burned Akuro.

"Gah!" Akuro screamed, fatally trying to remove Tsuna's hand from his face. However, he was simply too weak. Tsuna slammed his body in the wall again and, this time, was knocked out unconscious. Tsuna let go and watched mercilessly as the body fell down on the ground.

"Tch." Tsuna glared as he wrapped a chain enclosed in sky flames to the body to prevent him from escaping on the off chance that he awakes. "Becoming the boss needs more than a big brain."

Tsuna then turned around and approach the others. "And becoming the villain needs more then bad intentions."

"How is she?" Tsuna asked carefully, seeing Yamamoto asleep in Asari's lap. 

'Asari-san made him go to sleep, huh.' Tsuna thought with a frown. After all, the only reason why Asari would make Yamamoto sleep is because he's too worried which is bad for the health.

"She'll live if she gets immediate care." Reborn answered as he stood up, carrying Sayomi as Asari carried Yamamoto. "We healed her wound so she will survive but she's mentally unstable which is why she won't wake up. She's in a coma, basically."

"I see." Tsuna nod. "Let's bring her to the hospital and see how well the others are faring."

They all left, carrying the enemies with either their flames or by hand. As they walked around, Tsuna looked proud as no body was in sight.

'Everyone must have carried the bodies of the enemies to the interrogation room.' he thought with a smile as they reached the hospital and left Sayomi, Yamamoto, and Knuckle to watch over them and heal them if needed.

"Let's go to the gym." Tsuna said and everyone followed.
