We sit down on the couch, which was a huge mistake. I see blood stains every where. It was all because of me, too.

We sit in comeplete silence for over an hour, until Peeta finally speaks up, "I am a mutt."

I look at him sadly, "No. No, your not, Peeta. I am."

"Why'd they do this to me?" He asks, ignoring what I said.

"Because they knew I loved you."

"Loved?!" He asks shocked. "What, you don't love me anymore?!"

"I do love you! Peeta, you wouldn't be here if it wasnt for me!" I shout.

"Okay what about Finnick, huh?! You didn't love him enough to save him!" He spits.

"Finnick was my ally, not my friend!" I practically lie.

        "Oh yeah, I believe that,"

I calm down slowly and I look at a picture of me, Finnick, and Peeta my mother took before the war started.

"Peeta, what's wrong with us?" I ask.

"I don't know, sweet pea. I guess it's because really terrible things happen to really amazing people." He says.

        "Is it part of love?"

"What's the thing about love, Kat? You have to remember that." He said.

"Love, it never dies. It never goes away, it never fades, as long as you hang on to it," I let a tear fall.

"And it's tearing us apart," Peeta places his hand on top of my thigh.

"Peeta I don't want to be like this. I love you, and I hate the fact that we fight."

Peeta grabs my face, and stares deep into my eyes. "I love you so much."

He leans forward and kisses me softly. After we realease I go upstairs to bed. Did it die?
