I was busy checking the papers on my table in my resto when my phone suddenly beeped. I swiped the screen and read the message.

From: Kiefer Ravena

Hi Brianna! Are you free tonight? Let's go to Hyve! You know just like the old days, party with your friends. You can bring Jed also. And don't worry, wala si Juami.

I looked for my planner in my drawer and checked my schedule if I have a meeting or appointment tonight. Wala naman so I tapped the reply box.

To: Kiefer Ravena

Yes, I am! G ako! What time are we going to meet, Kief? I'll call Jed muna kung G siya.

After I sent the message, I dialed Jed's number.

"Hello Jed!" I greeted him as soon as he picked up his phone.

"Why?" he asked.

"Kiefer texted--" I didn't get to finish what I am trying to say because he cuts me off.

"Kiefer nanaman?! How many times do I have to tell you to avoid them, Iana?" inis na sabi ni Jed. So, he's mad at me again. Hay.

"Listen to me first Jed, okay?" mahinahon na sagot ko sakaniya, "Kiefer invited me na magparty sa Hyve tonight with our college friends. I mean, with our Atenean friends. But Juami's not invited naman. And he told me that you can come."

"You can go with them but hindi ako sasama. I'm with my friends." mabilis na sagot niya.

ANOBANAMANYAN?!

"Jed naman." paawa effect na sabi ko naman. Sana effective naman ang drama ng lola mo, "You know na mababa ang alcohol tolerance ko. I can't drive home."

I heard him heaved out a deep sigh on the other line. Nuxx, mukhang effective ata ang drama ko!

"Fine. I'll think about it." sagot niya, "I'll text you later if I can come."

Yessss!! I knew it! Hindi niya ako matitiis.

"Okay." masayang sagot ko naman, "Where are you guys going by the way?"

"I don't know kay Forts. ATC siguro." mabilis na sagot niya, "Sige na, I have to go na, Iana. I'm driving eh."

"Okay. Ingat! Don't forget to text me ha." then I hang up the phone.

While Jed and I were in the middle of our conversation, my phone beeped. So after talking to him I checked my inbox.

Okay okay! We'll meet you at 7. Dinner muna tayo Serendra then Hyve after.

To: Kiefer Ravena

Just talked to Jed, he'll text me daw if sasama siya pero G parin ako.

I get back to work so I could finish everything before 7. Don't get me wrong ah, I'm not a party people. I just really need to unwind, sobra na ang stress ko these past few days. Tapos dumagdag pa si Jed, nagtampo pa sakin last week and now, parang galit nanaman. Can't he just be civil with them? Ako nga okay lang na mag hang out with them eh. They are my friends, hindi sila si Juami so bakit ko sila idadamay sa galit ko 'di ba? Hay bahala na. I know him so well, he'll understand everything soon.

While having my lunch in McDo, (yes mcdo talaga. Kahit may sarili na akong restaurant lagi parin ako kumakain dito, si Keesh kasi eh! Nahawa ako sakanya.) I suddenly remembered Onemig. Did he already have his lunch? Matawagan nga.
