Night 18:

"What the hell is he thinking?! We're cousins!" inis na sabi ko kay Keesh, para kasing baliw 'tong si Jed mahal niya daw ako.

"Sabi ko na nga ba eh, ayang si Jed may lihim na pagtingin talaga sa'yo eh." sagot naman ni Keesh, "Ano na plano mo ngayon?"

"Iiwasan ko na siya, Keesh." mabilis na sagot ko, "Kailangan niya tigilan yang nararamdaman niya sa'kin. Hindi tama eh."

"Forget about it muna, Aire." masayang sabi ni Keesh sa'kin, "Mabuti pa't samahan mo nalang ako sa Highstreet at lumandi muna tayo!"

"Whaaat?!" Hindi makapaniwalang sabi ko, problemado na nga ako paglandi pa talaga ang nasa isip niya, "What are we going to do in Highstreet?"

"May event for Yolanda victims, nandun yung friend ko." she explained, "I'll introduce him to you, para maka move on ka na talaga kay Juami."

"Sino ba 'yun?" I interestedly asked her, "Gwapo ba 'yan?"

Keesh laughed loudly, "He's one of my close friends in Ateneo. And yes, he's gwapo! Kaya let's go!"

At dahil batas 'tong best friend ko, napasama na ako sakanya. It's time for me to meet other guys na siguro.

After an hour of driving, we finally arrived in BGC. We went straight to the activity area and we bought tickets for the said event. Si Keesh talaga puro kalandian ang alam! The ticket that we bought is worth 100 pesos and we get to hug the hunks plus photo op.

"Akala ko naman kung anong event!" nakangiting sabi ko, pero infairness ha, ang gwapo naman ng mga guys.

"Nag-iinarte pa? Pero yung ngiti abot langit!" pang-aasar ni Keesh.

"Haynako, where's your friend na ba?"

"He's on his way palang, relax!"

While waiting for Keesh's friend, we decided to eat first at ihop. Gutom na gutom na ako, hindi kasi ako pinakain ni Keesh sa bahay nila. Tsk tsk!

"What time mo ba susunduin si Onemig kila Juami?" Keesh inquired.

"Hindi ko alam!" sagot ko sabay tawa, "Hindi nagtetext si Juami eh."

"Aba! Mukhang okay na ata sa'yo na nasakanya yung bata ha!" hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Keesh, "Baka itakas na ni Juami yang anak niyo."

I smiled at her and shook my head, "He will never do that. I know him so well, Keesh. Besides, hindi niya naman alam na anak niya talaga si Onemig."

"Wala ka bang balak talaga na sabihin sakanya? I mean, Onemig likes him so much and I know Juami feels the same way, too."

"I don't know, Keesh..." naguguluhang sagot ko, "I keep on telling myself na hindi ko sasabihin kay Juami but everytime I see them together, the sparks in Onemig's eyes, parang gusto kong sabihin eh."

"Then tell him, Aire." she quickly answered, "Onemig and Juami deserve to know the truth."

"But how?"

"Go talk to him. You're in good terms naman na eh."

"I'll think about it, Keesh."

Few minutes after, Keesh's phone beeped. She immediately checked her phone then she gave me a meaningful smile.

"Spill it!" I said in full authority, "I know that smile, Brittany Lakeesha!"

She chuckled, "He's there na. Dalian mo, Aire!"
