I woke up around 9 in the morning, I reached for my planner in the table beside my bed and checked my schedule for today. It's almost Juami's birthday week na pala! Yes, we broke up years ago but I haven't forgotten his birthday naman. Ano kaya ibibigay ko sakanya? Ah, I need Keesh's help, my meeting is at 3pm pa naman.

I dialed Keesh's number and for the first time in forever she picked up her phone in first ring!

"KEEEESH!!!!" I screeched.

"Relaaaax Solaire! Wag kang sumigaw, okay? Hindi ako bingi."

"I need your help." I said calmly, "It's almost Juami's birthday. What should I give him?"

"Wait, am I really talking to Brianna Solaire Elizalde?!" she said in disbelief, "Sigurado ka bang reregaluhan mo si Juan Miguel? I mean may galit ka sa tao di ba? At talagang naalala mo pa yung birthday ni Juami ha!"

"May pinagsamahan naman kami nung tao kaya naalala ko pa birthday niya and fyi, hindi na ko galit sakanya. Okay na nga kami di ba? Para kay Onemig. Kaya dali na, tulungan mo na ko!"

"Fine, I'll go to Ichi Katip. Let's talk there."

"Omg, thank you Keesh!! And I want to plan a surprise for him."

"HOY BRIANNA SOLAIRE UMAMIN KA NGA! NAIINLOVE KA NA BA ULIT KAY JUAN MIGUEL?!"

"OF COURSE NOT! MASAMA NA BANG ISURPRISE ANG KAIBIGAN SA BIRTHDAY NIYA?!"

"Kaibigan? Wow Solaire ha! Kahit kay Alex at kay Teena mo sabihin yan iisa ang magiging reaction namin."

"Haynako, basta mamaya na tayo mag-usap. Male-late na ko sa trabaho ko."

"Okay. See you later! Bye!"

After talking to Keesh, I get off my bed and went to the CR to take a bath. It took me an hour fixing myself, I chose to wear a comfortable dress and flats. As I made my way to the living room, I found Jed sitting on the couch. It's been a week since the last time that he went here.

"Hi Jed!" I greeted.

He gave me a genuine smile, "Hi Ianna! Can I talk to you now?"

I looked on my wristwatch before answering, "I still have an hour. Let's talk while having breakfast."

Jed and I headed to dinning room. I can say that I am comfortable with him again.

"How are you, Jed?" I asked as I put hotdogs and bacon on my plate, "I missed my favorite cousin!"

"I'm doing good, Ianna. How about you? I've heard may branch na ang Ichi sa Katipunan ah."

"I'm doing great and yes, there is but it's not mine. Sila Kiefer owner nun, remember nag franchise sila."

"Oh yeah. So how's Onemig? I haven't seen him for like months na."

"He's big na, Jed!" masayang sagot ko, "He's with his dad. One week na nga siya dun kila Juami, hindi ko siya maasikaso kaya dun muna siya at least dun marami magbabantay sakanya, Dino and Fran are there."

"Juami and you are okay na pala. Good to hear that."

Good to hear that pero ang lungkot ng pagkakasabi niya. Jed ano ba? Gusto kong ibalik yung dating tayo.

"Jed, you will find the perfect girl for you in right place and time. You don't have to rush things." I started.

"I know, Ianna. Kaya nga I want to talk to you eh, I want to apologize." he answered, "I want to sorry for telling you I what I really feel for you."
