DOWN IN THE DM

"Hey, you owe us shots now, remember?" Y/N, the brunette, reminds me. Her and her friends had challenged me and mine to a game of beer pong, and we were the unfortunate losers. I've never been one to underestimate, but those girls sure can play. Not to mention the fact that they're all drop dead gorgeous. Especially the curvier one. I'd smash that any day.

Shit, the alcohol is starting to kick in.

"What do you ladies want?" I dig in my back pocket for my wallet, only to realize it's absence. A chill of panic runs through my body. Someone pokes my shoulder blade and I swiftly turn around. Standing their with a wide grin on her face is one of Y/N's friends. Great.

"Looking for this?" She holds up the very item I wanted. "Here. I'm surprised you didn't feel me getting it," she chuckles, her friends joining in. Playfully rolling my eyes, I take it from her and pull out a twenty. I swear a girl will be the official death of me.

Upon arriving at the bar, I slap the twenty on the granite surface. The tender eyes it with a smirk, already knowing my situation. "Get these lovely ladies some Cranberry Kamikazes please." He nods and takes the bill. "You're a God send," I joke, making the girls burst into synced laughter. I swear they'll laugh at any and everything.

Nick and Mark eventually wander off to the dance floor, leaving me with the five girls. Females. Not only did this look bad, it was bad. What guy can sit at a bar with a whole bunch of chicks and not think anything sexual? The alcohol already inside of me was bound to get me in some trouble.

I see your girl post her BM, so I hit her in her DM
All eyes yeah I see 'em, yeah this your man I hate to be him (whoop)

A loud chorus of "ayyyes" sound as a boat load of of people make a bee line for the dance floor. This is that one song everybody knows. It's ok, I guess, it's nothing spectacular though. The lyrics don't have a valuable meaning. There's way more to a girl than her body. Even I need to remind myself of that every once in a while.

"It go down in the DM, it go down, it go down in the DM," Y/N sings, swaying her hips to the strong percussion. I can't help but rake my eyes down her body. She was very fit. "It go down in the DM, it go down, it go down in the DM." She purposely moves closer to me. Unfortunately for her, I wasn't going to let myself fall for whatever trick she had up her sleeve.

"Cranberry Kamikazes," the tender announces over the music. The girls eagerly go to grab their shots. The mixture of vodka and cranberry was light pink. I have to admit, it does look pretty tasty. It doesn't help that I'm a sucker for vodka either.

Instead of listening to my mind I resist the urge to take one for myself. Everybody knows that one thing leads to another. And chances are, I'll be the one driving tonight. That's the way it always is. Nick and Mark promise not to get drunk and then proceed to pass out somewhere. Oh, the things I do for those idiots.

As the girls finish up, I find myself sneaking one too many glances at them. Just as I'm about to look away Y/N's sparkling eyes meet mine. Crap. She motions her head sideways to the one shot that was left. It wouldn't hurt.

"It's not gonna hurt." She picks up the small glass and holds it out to me. Gladly, I take it and bring it to my lips the second after. The cool liquid burns, but it's sweetness covers that sensation a little. My assumptions were right, it was very good. I could go for another.

"Thanks," I say.

The next thing I know, she's digging in her clutch and pulling out a few dollars. Who knows, maybe I won't be the one driving tonight.

End of imagine. Thanks for reading!

I love Down In the DM tbh
