It's inevitable that everything must come to an end. This book has reached that point.
I never would've thought writing would allow me to meet so many One Direction fans and capture their attention.
Thank you for caring and taking the time out of your days and/or nights to read my pieces. Getting feedback was one of the best aspects of this journey. I've learned and grown so much as a person.
But I'm not the girl I was two years ago. I'm older, smarter, and wiser. I no longer want to invest my time in Harry or any of the boys. Doing so only gave me sparks of what I assumed was happiness.
While the boys made me smile, that empty and wandering-like feeling in my heart was something I carried day after day. Yet I smiled through it, waiting for the sparks to light up again.
Hear me out.
I was foolish and began to develop false ideas about what happiness, and love were. Guess what. Sometimes the devil comes to you with a dashing smile and a nice suit, only to feed you what you want to hear. But DO NOT BE DECEIVED. What you want isn't always what you need.
"Trust in the lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path." Proverbs 3:5-6
Bettering my relationship with Jesus Christ helped me conclude that it's sometimes toxic to seek and set such standards for man (people.)
Who is really here for you in this life? Think about that truly and deeply.
Who are the people (or person) who know what's best for you? Who genuinely cares about your well being? Who tells you they love you when you need to hear it? Who is always there to make you laugh when you thought you'd never laugh again?
I mean DIRECTLY for you. Not speaking words of encouragement through a screen or to an audience/fanbase for money (because it's their job), but to you.
Those are the people you need to keep close.
If you happened to not have a name (or even if you did have a name(s)) to answer any of those questions, then God can be that person and more.
If you humble yourselves in prayer and allow his son Jesus to begin his works within your heart, you will soon find that God has been longing to be there for you all along.
He was simply waiting for you to let him in.
I know for a fact that if you were to accept Jesus today, your life will begin changing in ways you never could've imagined. You will be happier and finally find peace. When the storms do come, you will have he strength to dance through them because the creator of the universe is willing to fight your battles for you. He cares that much.
And He loves you so much He could cry. He wants you to let him in.
"God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves." 1 John 3:20
"I loved you at your darkest." Romans 5:8
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13
Here's a short prayer if you're not sure how to start:
Dear God, I know you love me, I come to you in the name of Jesus, I ask you for forgiveness, So please, come into my life, wash me clean, and fill me with your power, And I will trust and follow you as my Lord and savior, Amen.
Okay. I pray that this will open your eyes and that you will be able to find the true peace and happiness that I did.
I'm 100% sure God is capable of filling every hole in your heart. I know he did in mine. I've changed, after all.
