ON SET

"Pretty please may I have a kiss?" He begs, jutting his lower lip out like a child. As much as I'd love to kiss him, I refrain from doing so since his face is caked with mud. In the entertainment industry, playing the role of a soldier means getting dirty like real one. Which also means having to take more than one shower on the days you're on set.

But when everything is said and done, it would've been totally worth it. In fact, the hard work he has put in is already beginning to pay off. Both on and off camera, he strives to be the best version of his character possible. Some of the crew members have even admitted to admiring that about him.

"Later on this evening you can have all the kisses you want," I promise, taking his bigger, warmer hands in mine. "How does that sound, huh?" I smile up at him.

For a few seconds he doesn't say anything. "Guess it'll have to do." He sighs before returning my smile, cute dimples indenting his cheeks.

I pull away when a brunette lady wearing a headset approaches the two of us. She has a pair of the brightest blue eyes. "Harry, we need you down at the dock in five," she informs him. She nods at me in acknowledgement before speed walking in the direction of the trailers. I assume she's going to inform the other actors.

Harry shakes his head and chuckles. "I still think it's crazy that I'm apart of something this. . . big." He takes a look around. There's lights, cameras, props, costume racks, and determined people all over the place. It's absolutely incredible, if you ask me.

"Well, you are. And you deserve to be because you're amazing," I tell him honestly. If it's anyone who's perfect for a movie like this, or any movie for that matter, it's him. The word "can't" isn't in his vocabulary and he always works to get things done right.

His muddy cheeks turn a light shade of pink and I can't help but let out a small laugh. "Don't laugh at me," he scolds through a smile. "But thank you." His green eyes are genuine.

"You know what, maybe you don't have to wait till this evening." I stand on my toes and press my lips to his.

Yet another Goldfish tumbles onto the white sheets when I fail to catch it with my mouth. If you've ever wonder what adults do in hotel rooms at night, they throw cheesy snacks at each other.

"Aww, you were so close, babe. You just need better mouth, eye coordination," Harry tells me, sounding oddly encouraging. Sometimes I wonder how we managed to find each other. We were already weird on our own, but us together made an interesting combination. It's a combination I've grown to love, though.

I smile and crawl closer to him. He then places the goldfish bag off to the side. With a content sigh, he lays back and pulls me with him. The feeling of being in his arms is like no other; the guy is practically teddy bear. "I might not have mouth, eye coordination in terms of catching goldfish, but there's something else I'm good at doing," I say suggestively.

A soft chuckle vibrates through his chest. "Someone's being awfully cheeky." Classic me.

"What? I'm only telling the truth," I defend myself, unable to keep from smiling.

"You're something else, you know that." He kisses the top of my head fondly. Warmness immediately flows throughout my entire body. "What would I do without you?" He murmurs.

I lazily shrug. "I don't know."

"Me neither."

Let's pretend I haven't been gone for a million years *wink, wink*. Hopefully all of you are in good spirits and doing well. I'd like to quickly say thank you for 8.7k reads?!1!1! That's insane. I can't wait to make new content for you guys.

One more thing, I recently found out that my piano teacher has been diagnosed with breast cancer. It came as a HUGE shock to both me, my family, and the rest of her students. Much prayer is needed. Please keep her in yours. <3
