Episode 4:Garden Of Amahara

While Yukio goes to the academy's Exorcist-only shop to stock on some supplies, Rin wanders into a garden, meetingShiemi Moriyama, who is tending to the garden. Yukio examines Shiemi's legs, being afflicted by a demon that dwells in her family's garden, and she is put to bed. Shiemi's mother, owner of theshop, explains to Rin and Yukio that Shiemi wasinspired by her grandmother to stay and care for the garden. Rin finds Shiemi outside at nightwatering the flowers all to honor her grandmother's wish before her death, making Rin feel empathetic towards her. When Yukio later finds the two outside, the demon transforms into a flower and merges with Shiemi, prompting Rin and Yukio to confront theflower demon to save her life. Yukio shoots through Shiemi into the flower demon to release her, and Rin takes it out with Kurikara. Shiemi, inspired by their bravery, later decides to enroll in the academy.
