Chapter eight: Runing Away From The Marines And The Story Of The Roger Pirates

Scarlet POV

Well, this is getting interesting. I turned my blood turn into a sword and started slashing the Marines as Kid took all the weapons from the Marines and turned it into one gigantic hand. Law used room and was toying with the Marines that dare enter the circle and Luffy was being Luffy as he showed off by using his devil fruit ability to inflate his arm. Everyone came out of the Auction house as they saw the chaos outside.

" Those guys aren't half bad" praised Rayleigh.

" What do you mean 'not half bad'? " I said as Rayleigh ignores me. I was prepared to hit him as irk marks were all over my forehead." I swear I'm gonna kill you one day with this sword" I said and looked at the havoc we caused.

" What hapened to you Strawhat-ya? You're ruining the mood" Law said to Luffy that looked really small now.

"I guess we pretty much ruined their formation" said Eutass.

" Yeah" I said agreeing as I heard the Marine Commander bark out orders before the Marines attacked.

" It seem that they ran out of strategies" I said as Luffy turned back to normal.

" Well I'll see you later Straw hat. It was a pleasure meeting you in person but I wont show any mercy time we meet" said Kid and we all look at him.

" Okay! But I'll be the one to find the one piece" said Luffy and I could see the shock in the captains faces.

" Haha! Yup!" I said while laughing as Eutass was saying something to Killer but I was too engrossed in laughing. In the end all I heard was this.

"...we're going to an ocean where anyone without the guts to say it will die. Lets meet again in the new world!" said Eutass kid as I silently agreed. And so, Law went back inside, doing god knows what.

" Look over there" said that guy with the swirly brows, Sanji and he pointed to the other weird guy with swirly brows.

" We got everything set to go! Right men?!" said the weird guy.

" Yes! Life is rosy!" they answered.

" Lets go" yelled Luffy.

" Yeah!" I said and we left. The skeleton, Brook, played a song and made the Marines fall asleep. We kept on running and the Marines shot bullets at us which missed and Nami did her thunderbolt tempo. We escape on the flying fish(and a cow) and the Marines kept on shooting at us. They went on boats to chase after us too. Man, they sure are persistent. I made a wave of my blood knocking them off course and Franky made some kind of booster on the cow.

A few minutes later we landed on solid ground and that guy, with the swirly brow, Duval was it? Gave Keimi back her backpack. Heading back to Shakki's Rip Off Bar, Shakki greets us.

" You guys are back early" said Shakki.

" Shakki, do you have a spare bed? Hachi is hurt badly" Rayleigh said as we entered. Rayleigh put Hachi in a bed and told us he was on Gold Roger's ship.

"Nani?!!"yelled Luffy.nani= what

" Yup, he was also vice captain" I said.

" I'm Silvers Rayleigh, nice to meet you" said Rayleigh.

" VICE CAPTAIN??!!!" all the other screamed and Ussop spit out his drink.

" How does an octopus know a big shot like you?" asked Zoro.

"Hachi helped him when he was stranded at sea" I answered for him.

" 20 years ago" Rayleigh continued.

" Hachi saved his life" I added.

" If Gold Roger was executed 22 years ago, how come you, the vice captain, is still alive?" asked Sanji as Luffy stoped eating for a minute to listen. Rayleigh smiled as I listened. I wanted to know too.

" We weren't captured, Roger surrendered to them"Rayleigh said.

" The Pirate King surrendered?!! Why?!" asked Nami. I silently agreed to the question.

" He could see the end of our journey" Rayleigh answered.

" It was probably four years before he was executed. Roger caught an incurable disease"

" Ehhh?" evryone said. It wasn't that surprising for me though.

" A disease that could not be stabilized or cured but one man. The most well known doctor of his time..."

"... a man called Crocus of the twin capes, had the skill to ease Rogers pain"
