Chapter twenty: Law's Apology And Smile/ The Kisses

Scarlet POV

" I just.... I.... I'm sorry" He said simply. Hey..! He just.. apologized..? He started walking away.

" Wait..! Law!" I grabbed onto his shoulder. He turned around. " ...Can we... still be friends..?" I asked, adverting my gaze. I felt a hand on my head.

" .....Of course" he smirked. I looked to him and pouted. I put his hand off of my head and smiled brightly. He turned around and walked back to where his crew was, sleeping. I walked back to where Gil was, drinking with Zoro. I smiled as he passed out.
I stayed awake as everyone slept. I looked at Gil's sleeping face. He's so cute... I flushed a bit at that thought. I went over to him and planted a kiss on his lips before flushing even more red. Will I... kill him? No.. don't think about it..... Well then, I better go to sleep.

I didn't realize that Caesar was here too. Wasn't he the one at fault for basically everything? What are we going to do with him now?

" Why exactly is Caesar on board?" I asked. " Yeah... I really don't want to know." I sighed and caught Clifford-san's gaze on the other ship. I smiled and he smiled back. I guess we won't be seeing each other for a while. I adverted my gaze to Law looking over here. Gil came over and glared at Law." Gil.. can you stop that?"

" Why? He betrayed us" he spit.

" He.. apologized"

" He.. what?!" Gil nearly shouted." How did his pride let him?"

" I don't know.. but be nice!" I smiled over to Law as Gil tried to smile as well. Law looked over to and was surprised before smiling... wait!! He smiled? Not smirked? He turned around and walked away. What is he doing here anyway?

" Scarlet... did he just..?" Gil started.

" He just... smiled?" I said bewildered. After a moment of shock, I started laughing and so did Gil." He smiled! He really smiled!"

" Yeah..! Maybe now he'll get a girlfriend." We stopped laughing. I looked to Gil and we made eye contact. We both flushed.

" Umm..." I didn't know what to say.

" Scarlet. You know what I said at Punk Hazard... it was true.. I really.. I really like you" he looked me in the eye. We both flushed even more.

" Yeah... I know... me too" I muttered the last part but apparently, he still heard.

" You... what..?"

" Don't make me say it again! I really like you too..!" I closed my eyes and blushed. I opened my eyes again to stare right into Gil's eyes. He looked so surprised. But then he smiled. " Ummm... Gil..?" I started.

" ...Yeah..?"

" Last night... I.. umm.. did this" I leaned in and my lips touched his for that one second. I pulled away before frantically looking around and then back at Gil. He was blushing too. Maybe I shouldn't have done that? I looked around again before looking back to Gil. To my surprise, his face was right in front of me. His face came even closer as his lips touched mine. It was a bit longer than the last one but ended shortly.
I stared at him, smiled nervously and blushed.

" ......Umm.. Gil..?" I started. He held up his hand and ruffled my hair.

" What is it?" He asked.

" ....Thank you...." I smiled a closed eye smile with a small blush.

" For wha-" he was cut off.

" The food is ready! It's time to eat!" Sanji yelled from the kitchen.

" Let's go" I pulled Gil's hand and smiled a close eyed smile. He smiled back and we went to eat our dinner.

" Scarlet! Gil!" It seemed that Luffy also started to call him that as well." You are going to be an official member of the Straw Hats!"

" Eh?"

" So... are you going to be a pirate with us?" I asked. He looked to me and then smiled.

" Yeah, I guess. Wherever Scarlet is, I'll be by her side forever" said Gil. My face heated up once again.

" Ah!!! Gil! That's... so cheesy..." I looked away.

"Are you and Gilbert... you know." Asked Nami. My face stayed red but turned redder.

" ....Yes..." I said with a nod. Robin and Nami both give me the thumbs up as Sanji was was trying to fight Gilbert. How I want this to last forever.
