Chapter fifteen: The Heart Pirates

Gilbert POV

" Who's there?" Law demanded.

" Hehe.. I guess we were found out" Scarlet went out. Law inspected her and deemed that she was not dangerous. He took another look and realized that they have met before. I stepped out of the shadow of the palm tree next to Scarlet and let him examine me as well.

" .....What are you doing here?" He asked, still with a stoic look plastered on his face.

" Ahhhh..... we kinda got washed up here..." Scarlet replied. Law sighed as he walked up to her. She flinched when he held out his hand.

" Trafalgar Law" he said.

" Oh-.. Scarlet! My name is Scarlet Yonder" She smiled and took his hand." And this is Gilbert" she gestures to me to which he merely nodded. I was irritated to say the least.

Scarlet POV

Law offered to bring us to the next none-deserted island to which we gladly accepted. Well..... Gil didn't really like that for some reason. We quickly boarded the submarine as Law showed us our temporary rooms. He walked fast, very fast. I was happy that our temporary rooms were right next to each other.
Both Law's(office)and Gil's rooms. It made it much easier that way. Gil didn't seem to be so happy about that though.I went into the small room and face planted onto the bed.

" Scarlet... You sure we can trust them?" Gil asked.

" Yup ! I'm sure!" I shouted as Gil sighed.

" Well then. I'll be in my room if you need anything or if you go out anywhere, come get me. I don't trust them" I sighed. Gil's so uptight. He should let loose once in a while.

" Hai hai...! See you" I shut the door and heard him sigh. I once again face planted in to the bed. I wonder how long it'll take? Hmm.... I know! I'll go ask Law! I got up and went out of the room, completely ignoring what Gil said. I knocked politely on Law's office door.

" Come in" I heard Law's voice through the door. I opened it to see..... to see... a bear? Scratch that, a polar bear.

" Who is she?" Asked.. the polar bear. Scratch that, a talking polar bear. Wait.. scratch that...! It's a very, very.... cute talking polar bear! I jumped onto it and hugged him as tightly as I could. I heard gargling sounds and Law's voice before stopping.

" Scarlet.. please refrain from strangling my navigator" Law ordered and I let go.

" Hehe.. sorry about that" I apologized.

" What do you want now?" He asked and sighed.

" Well you see I was wondering how long it-" I started but was interrupted by a person slamming the door open.

" Scarlet!" Yelled Gil as he stomped into the room.

" Oh.. hi Gil" I smiled. He stoped for a second and then continued. Oh.. he was very mad.

" Not 'hi'! I told you not to come here without me!" He shouted.

" ....Hehe.. well your here now..?" I replied with a goofy smile.

" Scarlet" I looked to see the voice came from Law and surprisingly, he looked anxious." I just got a call and I know where stray-hat-ya is now. I can bring you there"

" Really? That'd be great thanks!" I smiled, genuinely happy.

" We'll stop at Griazel(made it up) in three days for supplies and we'll stay for a day before going to Punk Hazard, the island where straw-hat-ya is" Law explained and went back to his desk to do some stuff I didn't really know about so both Gil and I left the room.

" Hey...! Gil! Let's play charades!" I pulled on his hand. He looked at me before smiling, apparently not angry anymore.

" Sure" I pulled him into my temporary room and so that was how it was for the next three days.
I watched as we approached Griazel. It was a fairly large island with very many inhabitants. They were buzzing around like bees. The fishermen went out to fish. The mothers going around grocery shopping for ingredients for the day. Children playing around on the streets. What a beautiful day it was...! We landed on the side of the island where there weren't many people.

" I'll be going! See ya later!" I shouted as I jumped off of the submarine.

" Wait! Scarlet!" Gil jumped off after me. I ran through I forest and into the town. I looked around. It was exciting! I looked behind me for Gil but he wasn't there. Well nevermind him. I started running again. Bumping into someone caused me to trip backwards. Oww! I think I sprained my ankle....Great!
