"Curveballed"

Chapter 20

Walking out of the last class of the Angeline couldn't be more relived. After finishing an hour presentation she had no desire to stay on campus any longer. Angeline smiled as she reached in a grabbed the set of keys Carson had given her to his truck after a few weeks of being chauffeured around. She knew her way around Catalan roads. She healed her head high as she made her way to the student parking lot. Angeline could she Franco with a group of people handing out flyers. As much of a good guy Franco was she just wasn't ready to go to another one of his famous parties. She decided to play tunnel vision. Angeline was a few feet away from the truck when she heard her name being called.

"Americana wait up!" Angeline groaned to herself. She stopped and turned to face him. Franco had a bright sexy smile plastered on his beautiful face. Angeline couldn't help but smile back. Franco was just full of life nothing seemed to anger him. He pulled her into his arms for a hug.

"Hey Franco, I was just heading home." Angeline said as she pulled away from him.

"Well you can't leave without a flyer to the party this weekend." Franco said handing her the neon green paper. Angeline took the flyer and not bothering to look at it and put it her bag.

"Thanks Franco, but I'm a pass of the parties for now." Franco looked at Angeline and couldn't believe she'd pass up on an invite. "I don't understand you looked like you were having a good time at the last party." Angeline felt her face heat up. Did he see her at the party with those guys...

she thought to herself. She shook away the thought and put her poker face on.

"It was a good party, but I didn't come to party Franco I came to learn and experience new things." Franco frowned at Angeline he wanted her to come. She's been on every guys mind since she had arrived. Franco reached out and grabbed her hand. Giving her a side smirk. "Serg will have more the good stuff. You seemed to take to it fairly quick." Angeline had no idea what he was talking about. Then like if someone had thrown a bucket of ice cold water on her. She knew exactly what "good stuff" he was referring to.

"It was you and your fuckin' boyfriend who drugged me!" Angeline was beyond furious as she hit Franco's broad chest with her balled fist. Franco tried to hush Angeline as she yelled, he didn't want to be outted on campus they would kick him out of the university for sure.

"Angeline enough!" Franco said in a low harsh tone pulling her to a shaded area. Angeline pulled her arm free from his grasp. "I can't believe you!" Angeline gave one last looking at Franco and walked away not looking back she had nothing to say to him.

She drove back to the house. While pulling up she thought maybe it was time to go see Derek but she'd save the trip for later. Walking into the house she could smell a wonder delicious aroma. Angeline made her way to the kitchen to and found Carson cooking over the stove. He had no idea she was watching him as he worked his magic. Angeline enjoyed the view of her man she thought. She smiled to herself, even though she knew he did not belong to her and he was in a committed marriage she knew they shared something special.

Angeline made her way around the island and hopped on the kitchen counter. Carson could see his little mistress in the corner of his eye. He couldn't deny the excitement he was feeling seeing her and having her close by, but he put his poker face on and gave her a quick smile. "You do know counters are for preparing food? Not for comfort." Carson said in a playful tone. He put the Paella to simmer and wiping his hands on the kitchen towel he had over his shoulders. He walked over towards Angeline caging her in as he placed a hand on each side of her. He could feel the heat between them start to swirl. Angeline bit down on her bottom lip as she stared into his deep brown eyes. "You can always prepare me... I bet I could be very delicious?" She said in a soft tone.
