Angeline had finally come to terms with the fact that her bestie had been sucked into a completely new lifestyle that didn't seem to include her. She hadn't been home for days ever since Madelyn had found a group of friends that she wasn't too fond of. But maybe she was being too harsh with her friend, at this point Maddy needed time to explore and experiment.
As much as it worried Angeline, she also had to accept the fact that she was in no position to judge her on it, having been there, done that upon her arrival in Spain at the beginning of her exchange program. She was walking in circles in the massive Mediterranean home and, even though the sun shined through the windows, it felt cold. She decided to pack a few things and head out to see Carson. She missed him terribly during the busy days of school, but even more during her sleepless nights. She left a quick note for Maddy.
Mads,
I'm going to stay with Carson for a couple days. I really wish you'd talk to me. I miss you. If you need me you know where I'll be.
Love you, Ang .
Angeline didn't really feel like driving any of Ernesto's lavish vehicles, it didn't feel like her at all, so she called a cab. She used the short ride to Carson's house to think and wonder again about what she truly wanted. The last time the two had attempted to discuss their status, things got a little crazy.
Though she couldn't make herself tell him bluntly, she knew he was it for her and that by his side is where she wanted to be. She thought of her mother and knew that if she decided to settle here in Spain, she would be fine with it and would have to understand that she wasn't her little girl anymore. Above all, she wouldn't let her push aside the love of her life, like she had done with her father.
Then her mind quickly moved on to what her father would think of her and her relationship with a man his age. She realized she would have quite a bit to sell and explain before she could set things in stone. When the cab stopped in front of the Cortez mansion, butterflies danced in her stomach. She paid and thanked the cab driver, then grabbed her bag and made her way up the stairs. Before she could ring the bell the door swung open to an ecstatic Sabrina.
"Please tell me you're here to stay!?" Sabrina couldn't hide the excitement of seeing her friend at her doorstep.
She also couldn't help but feel a strong sexual attraction towards her. Ever since Angeline had revealed she had actually witnessed her with Carson and had chosen to tease her about it instead of lecturing her, she couldn't help but dream of exploring more avenues with her friend again.
"For a few days, yes." Angeline smiled as Sabrina threw herself on her, wrapping her in a loving hug.
Angeline couldn't help but feel Sabrina's braless chest against hers. There was a definite sexual attraction between the two, but Angeline wasn't sure if continuing to play this game with Sabrina would eventually kick her in the ass. Sabrina grabbed her friend's hand and hauled her inside to her father's room.
"Is your dad home?" Angeline asked as she dropped her bag on the floor.
The scent of him made her core clench. God, she wanted him so much. She looked over at Sabrina who seemed lost even farther in her thoughts than she was.
"Sabrina?"
"Oh, no he's at a meeting at work. He'll be home later tonight. So it's just you and me..." Sabrina said the last three words and bit her lip. She secretly hoped Angeline would respond with a sexual innuendo of her own but she just nodded instead.
"Okay, how about we start working on dinner. Just you and me..." Angeline suggested, this time winking at Sabrina. She hadn't missed her little pass at her, and for some reason she had come to grip with the fact that living here was not going to be normal.
