Derek's pov ;

I sat in my office at home as I hadn't finished some paper work at work today because I decided to pay Amelia a visit instead.

"I'm going to bed" Amelia's voice says bringing me out of my daze as I look up to see her walking into the room wearing one of my shirts that I purposely got two sizes too big so it would be massive one her and knee high socks.

She was so attractive and she didn't even have to try.

"If you keep wearing stuff like that you won't be doing any sleeping any time soon" I say making her laugh as she takes a seat on my lap pushing me away from my work.

"Then come join me" she says with a smile wrapping her arms around my neck.

"You know I would love to, but I have to finish this paper work" I say pressing a kiss to her lips.

"Sucks for you" she says with a laugh jumping off my lap and walking out of the room making me laugh as I shake my head before opening up my laptop to see if I have gotten an email from my assistant yet showing me my schedule for next week.

I opened up my emails to find that I had one unread but to my surprise it wasn't from my assistant, it was from an unknown email address.

I pressed on it intrigued to find that it was the same stupid person who showed the video of Amelia and I for the whole world to see and tried black mailing us into giving him money.

If he even was a guy, that I had no idea.

It seems you didn't find my last threat severe enough but let me tell you, that is about to change

p.s you might want to check up on Amelia in your room

I quickly jumped up from my chair, why is this person doing this.

I ran to our room to find that Amelia was no where to be found making me run a hand threw my hair as I found that the bedroom window was wide open the curtains flowing around the room violently.

"Amelia" I yelled poking my head into the walk in wardrobe closet and the bathroom before making my way downstairs hoping she was getting a snack before going to bed.

Sadly that wasn't the case as all the lights downstairs were off and no Amelia in sight.

I grabbed my phone out of my pocket at a hurried pace as I type up the number of the security people I had hired to make sure our house was secure.

"Hello Mr Luh what can I help you with?" Grant the main security guy answers as i start panicking about Amelia.

Where the hell could she be.

"I need you to come over right away its Amelia" I say hurriedly, I would be surprised if Grant even understood what I said.

"I'm on my way right now, what's happened?" He asks as I hear shuffling on the other end of the line.

"She's been taken" I say pacing around the kitchen.

"I will be there as soon as I can, in the meantime stay where you are" he says before hanging up as I throw my phone on the bench.

How could this even happen, only a couple of minutes ago she was in my office and now I have no idea where she is.

My phone starts ringing again as I look down to see that it was Amelia calling.

I furrowed my eyebrows quickly answering as I put the phone up to my ear.

"Amelia?" I question panting as I was hoping it was her and she was safe.

"I'm sorry to disappoint, but Amelia's not available at the moment"

probably really cliche that she gets kidnapped but it really suits the story line so please go with it
