It had been a year since I gave birth to our baby boy Cole and it has been the best year of my life.

There have been no more threats coming through, it was like our life was going back to normal.

Derek and I decided to celebrate our new found freedom by taking Cole to his first baseball game.

"Isn't this exciting?" I questions gently poking Cole's nose a small giggle escaping his lips as he sits on my lap. Derek and I sat a bit far away from the field enjoying the view from higher up.

"Okay let's stuff our faces" Derek says making me laugh, I turn my head seeing Derek carrying a tray full of drinks and another one with a mother lode of chips.

"I hope your not planing on feeding that to Cole" I say, we did let him pig out from time to time but we didn't want to make junk food apart of his diet.

"What are you talking about this is all for me" he says taking a seat next to me putting the drink within the cup holders on either side of him and placing the chips on his lap.

"Well now I know where all the foods been going in the house" I laugh, Derek's dad had come to stay with us for a little bit while he finds himself a new place.

His divorce was being finalised with Derek's mum. Which I was happy with, he deserved better.

And ever since he had moved in the food within the pantry had been rapidly decreasing and now I know it was Derek all along.

"Are you sure your not pregnant, cause the craving are surely kicking in" I say bumping Cole up and down on my leg.

He was playing with my hair at the moment that was the exact same colour as mine. She got a lot of my features.

The game finally started as both Derek and I's attention went onto the field.

I couldn't help but feel a vibrate come from within my bag making me curious.

I lean down making sure to keep Cole in place picking my phone out seeing that I had a new text message.

Unknown number : if you want to find out who we were all along, go to the food  stand

I knew straight away who this text message was from immediately making me nervous, but I couldn't help be curious.

"Can you hold Cole for a little bit, I need to go to the bathroom" I lie turning my head to Derek.

He nods putting the near empty tray of chips on the floor taking Cole from my arms and placing him on his lap.

I pushed myself up from my chair pushing through everyone else who was in the same aisle as us.

As soon as I was out of the seating area I looked around trying to spot a food stand.

As soon as I did I started walking over looking around as there were only a couple of people there all of them lining up to order food.

I stood in front of the food stand looking around everywhere with no luck of seeing anyone suspicious when I suddenly got another text that came through my phone

Unknown number : look down sweetie

I looked down seeing a piece of paper sitting on the edge of the food truck making me furrow my eyebrows.

Was this what I was meant to find?.

I picked up the letter opening it up as I started reading it.

Bet you didn't see this one coming - Sam, Nate, Gilinsky, Johnson xx
