I had just called the police and right now I didn't think there was anything they could do as I was just crying the whole time and I would be surprised if anyone even heard anything I was saying.

I walk away from the phone booth looking down at the pity amount of ten dollars I have that I was pretty sure I was going to lose since I didn't have anything to put it in and my pockets were those stupid kind that didn't actually serve a purpose.

I sighed walking over to the shops as I badly wanted to figure out where I was, and if it was possible to just get a bus ride home.

"Hello, how can I help you?" A cheery voice says as I enter the first store which kind of just looked like a guide to around the town.

Exactly what I needed.

"Hi, um I was wondering what town this was?" I question surprised when she didn't give me a weird look but continued to smile at me.

She probably thought I looked like a complete slob.

"Yes your in LakeHaven" she says making me furrow my eyebrows as I had never heard of this place before.

Was I even still in America?.

"How did you end up in a place you didn't know?" She asks as I lean against the desk that she was standing behind.

"This is going to sound really stupid and unrealistic, but I was dumped here by a bunch of people who really love money and now I only have ten dollars and have no idea how to get back home" I sigh closing my eyes just wishing that all of this wasn't real and I could just go back to my normal life.

"How are you going to survive on ten dollars around here?" She questions sparking up a conversation, it was nice though I probably wasn't going to get to talk to many people around here.

"I don't know, sleep in the park or something" I say unsure of my words as that sounded like the most unpleasing thing I had heard in my whole life. And I was the one who said it.

"Nonsense, if your interested I have a spare home in my house if you need for a couple of days" she says, and I defiantly didn't expect anyone to be so nice around here.

"What no I'd feel like I'm intruding" I gasp, I really hadn't planned for any of this.

"Don't be silly, I'll close the shop and you can have a nice shower and a clean pair of cloths" she says getting up from behind her desk and waltzing over towards the door changing over the open sign to now say close.

She was a seriously generous women.

"My names Lilly by the way" she smiles as she turns around as I'm still dumbfounded by how nice she was being.

"I'm Amelia" I smile as she stops where she's walking and gives me a questioning eye.

"I hope you don't mind me asking but what's your last name, you look very familiar" she says as I smile, so these people weren't totally out of civilisation.

"My last names Luh" I say reminding me of Derek as I look down at my hand sadly to no longer see the ring I had worn connecting us together.

========

"That sounds crazy" she gasps as we sit at her table as I had a mug of hot tea in my hands.

I was telling her the story of what had been happening the past couple of days and surprisingly she didn't seem to question any of it.

"I feel so sorry for you, are you okay, I couldn't imagine what it would be like knowing your husbands still with them" she says giving me a small smile.

"I hope you don't mind but I just really want to go to bed, I'm so tired" I say as she gives me a nod, truth is I probably wasn't going to get one bit of sleep tonight.

I probably won't sleep at all until I finally see Derek safe and back at home.

I keep changing the story line of this book and I really love how I feel that I can do so much with this book

I also know that there probably isn't any place in America called Lake Haven as I'm from Australia and just made up any name that came to my head first
