Derek's pov ;

As soon as I heard my voice in the room I pushed past people to find Amelia, after seeing her with the photos there was no way I could tell what she was going to do after this.

I looked everywhere around the room before a loud smash was heard in the room making everyone's eyes go over to Amelia as I immediately started quickly running towards her but she was already a head in front of me as she started running.

"Amelia" I yell but it looked like she couldn't hear me as she exited the building as I looked back at the screens as the video was still playing making me shake my head.

What kind of sick person does this.

I quickly run out of the building as I look around to see that Amelia was no where to be found.

But I found her as I heard the loud engine of a car go off and I know that car immediately.

"Shit" I swear as I see Amelia quickly drive away tears pouring out of her eyes.

I grab my phone out from my pocket as I dial Peters number as he was our driver.

"You could please pick me up"

I had no idea where Amelia was but my best guess was that she went back home so I thanked Peter before hoping out of the car and making my way up to our house.

Thankfully my car was back in the driveway as I quickened my pace opening my door as I heard the security guys I hired talking as I walked towards their voices.

"Have you seen Amelia?" I ask them as they were sitting in the kitchen looking down at a laptop as their heads look up when they see me.

"I think she's up stair" one of them says as I give them a nod before heading back towards the stairs and jogging up them.

I check all of the rooms as I go until I get to our bedroom.

"Baby?" I question as I open the door and turn the light on to find that she was lying under the covers of the bed.

I walked closer towards her as I heard her sobbing.

"Amelia?" I question as she looks over at me and her eyes are red and filled with tears.

"I'm sorry for leaving you" she says in a hushed tone as I sit down on the bed next to her rubbing her cheek.

"I promise you I'm going to find the asshole that did this" I say making a small smile come to her face.

"I want to help" she says sitting up in the bed as she was now dressed in her pyjamas.

"No seriously you've been through enough" I say intertwining our fingers.

"Derek I am a strong women and the last couple of days I have not felt like it so please think about my dignity" she says making me laugh as she lets out a small laugh.

"Fine, although I think your dignities already walked away" I laugh making her roll her eyes as she punches my arm lightly.

"So is yours" she says as I loved the fact that I could cheer her up in seconds.

"Actually you could hardly see my body" I say making her cover her face as she groans.

"If you had just not tripped on the stupid lounge it would have been you on top not me" she says pushing me as I fall off the bed with a loud thud.

"So is this like payback or something?" I ask from the floor as the security people probably thought someone was getting killed up here from how loud I fell.

"Oh it's just the start" she says as I can't see her anymore but hear the covers as she was probably lying under them now.

"I love you" I say hoping there will be no more pushing me off the bed.

"Nice try"
