3 weeks, 4 days

Austin's POV

It's been 2 days since it rained, it has drizzled a few times so we had to keep re making the fire. The temperature isn't that high anymore maybe how it was we just came here, I don't think anyone else is going to be cranky because of heat anymore. We have been here for just over three weeks, the others probably don't know that. I've kept tally In the sand, so much has happened in 3 weeks. Within the first one Trames got together, second the Nate drama and third the bronnor drama. I think I might be the only one who hasn't caused any trouble, I'm rethinking my job as a musician to do couples counseling. Apparently I'm really good at it, well that's what I've learned since being on this island. Who knew a small island can cause almost everything to go wrong in our lives?

I check up on our SOS and HELP signs, we drew in the sand along with rocks and leaves, nearly everyday. I think I speak for us all when I say we just wanna get off this island.

People watching, I've done a lot of that just watching my band mates and The Vamps. I notice the loving stare in Brad's eyes whenever Connor is happy, I notice how quiet James and Tris seem to be. I notice how Nate prefers to be with me or Connor most of the time. I've noticed how much Drew and Levi seem to disappear of into the woods together. I notice just about everything. By the time we leave I think I'll know this beach like the back of my hand.

"Guys I found a fish!" Drew shouts from the water, he points over at the seabed where there is indeed a fish laying on it. James, Brad and Levi rush over to it. What's so exciting about a fish? That's most likely dead.

Well I guess we haven't really seen much animals since we've been here I guess the fish might be the only one actually. James and Brad bring it over to the fire whilst Drew and Levi go back into the water. I look down at Nate who has his head on my shoulder, "aren't you going to go into the water too?" I ask, he shakes his head quickly. I frown when I remember why he wouldn't, "you can always have fun in there without thinking about that" I say and he shakes his head again

"Why don't you go in the water?" He asks looking up,

"My fear is slightly different to yours" I say and he smiles a little

"I'm scared of sharks too that's part of the reason I'm not going in there" he says sitting up,

"Well they're slightly similar I guess" I say thinking about it. "But you've been in there before, plus we swam here" I say and he shrugs

"I didn't think about it then, but you can't see what's in the ocean. There could be sharks everywhere waiting for me to go in, they probably killed that fish" he says and I chuckle

"I understand the part about not knowing what's in the ocean that's my fear, but sharks waiting for you and killing one fish? The fish could have died some other way" I reply, he rolls his eyes

"Have you not seen Nemo? Fish are friends not food" I quote, he laughs shaking his head.

"I have but have you not seen every other movie or documentary that's about sharks?" He points out

"They're movies they're meant to scare you Nate" I say

"Some are based on true stories, if you think my phobia is so silly why don't you go in there?" He says pointing towards the water.

"Because they're might be other things in there other than sharks, there could be monsters undiscovered, there could be killer whales, they're could be sting rays and pirañas. " I start, I look down at his face to see it pale with fear causing me to stop. "Sorry" I say patting his shoulder.
