Lucky pov

I slowly straightened my dress and brushed the fabric. I sat down on my bed, and laced my boots. Then I walked to the mirror. I brushed my hair, and then I braided my hair into a thick pink braid. I hated my hair! It always made small devil horns, and I wouldn't want to give people the wrong impression. I looked at my reflection, and my calm pink eyes stared back at me.

My communicator vibrated, and I took a deep breath. Never a quiet night! At least then it wouldn't be for nothing that I had dressed. I closed the door behind me, and walk down to the living room. They were all there. Techno, Overwatch, Mammoth, Multiple and Crow, and they didn't look happy. They looked tired, and I understood why.

Jump City had been taken over by the fearsome group the Teen Tyrants. They were skilled and ruthless, and we were here to stop them. They were dangerous and cruel, but they owned the city. We had to hide our base of operation, while their T-tower was standing like a fortress in the middle of the city. But they had been quiet for almost a week now, and that made all the other criminals go crazy. We had worked every night and hour to get some kind of control. Of course they were tired.

Techno: "Lucky, why are you already dressed?"

L: "I had a feeling, something was going down tonight."

Overwatch: "It's a bank heist. Someone triggered the silent alarm."

L: "Then it's not the Tyrants. Bank heists aren't their style. I'm going alone."

They looked relieved, and Crow nodded, but of course Overwatch had to try.

Overwatch: "What if it's a trap."

I shook my head and waved at them.

L: "Again, that's not their style. You all go to bed, and I will call you if anything happens."

They all nodded and went to bed, but Overwatch turned around in the door.

Overwatch: "Stay save."

L: "Not an option in this city."

I drove through the dark streets and enjoyed the silent. Jump City was a beautiful city, it just needed to be saved. Wow... I made that sound easy! My motorcycle made the sharp corners look like nothing, and soon I was in front of the museum. There was no vehicle on the street, the thief had to believe he could just run from the crime scene. Ridiculous! I parked the motorcycle in an alleyway, and walked to the door.

L: "The lock is still intact?"

I was talking to myself, so I was quite surprised when someone answered over the com system.

Overwatch: "None of the locks are broken, it's very weird."

L: "Thank you Overwatch, but now please go rest."

Overwatch: "Alright, but I have turned off the alarms that you might activate. Goodnight."

I turned off my com system, because I didn't wanted them to listen to my conversations with myself. But I still thanked Overwatch in my head, for turning the alarms off. Then I slowly opened the door and walked inside. The huge door made a lot of noise, and I grumbled and moved on. I moved silent through the museum, until I reached the room the alarm was triggered in. I hid behind a pillar and looked for the thief. But there was no one in there. I released my breath.

I walked through the room to look for an empty glass display. I walked past old crap, but at one display I stopped to look. It was a beautiful red necklace. I read the sign out loud.
