Chapter 12: Everything or nothing

We heard the screams through the streets. It sounded like a chaos, and only the Tyrants could make such a chaos. We stayed together and drove towards the screams. It was the park, they were burning the park! The flames and the smoke painted the sky, and the screams from people running out of the park was creating panic among citizens. It looked like a war scene, and I had a feeling that it would become exactly that. Multiple made sure that everyone was checked for burns, and Overwatch and Crow flew up to get a look at the damage.

I tried to calm down some people in shock, when I heard the screams. I turned around and looked up. Overwatch was falling from the sky, and he clearly wasn't in control. I panicked and screamed for help, but luckily Mammoth had it under control. He jumped up in the right second and caught Overwatch. Then they both landed on the ground safe. I ran to them, where we were joined by the others. Overwatch had an red arrow through the stomach. He cried in pain, and Techno quickly got to work.

Techno: "Lay still! It'll only hurt more if you keep moving."

L: "Mammoth hold him down!"

Mammoth placed his hands on Overwatch's shoulders and hold him down against the ground.

Multiple: "What did this?"

L: "Not what, who!"

I turned around just in time to see the last of the fire be put out. The park was suddenly flooded, and the water ran out into the streets. The smoke cleared, and in the ashes of the once so beautiful park stood the Teen Tyrants. Tempest was controlling the water, and around him stood the others. Red Robin the leader, Arsenal the archer, Blackfire the heavy hitter, Red Raven the real power, and Streak... My love...

I got eye contact with him, but he looked away. He was ashamed of what they had done, and he liked it as little as I did.

Red Raven: "So... at last we can deal with you!"

L: "If it's us you want to fight, why burn the park?!"

Red Robin: "We do whatever we please! This is our city!"

L: "Not when we're here!"

Red Raven: "That's what we're here for. To make sure you won't be in the future."

I clenched my fists. My teammates walked up and stood beside me.

Red Robin: "Teen Tyrants! Tear them apart!"

L: "FIVE! Protect the city!"

And then we jumped into battle. What had been chaos only got worse. We crashed together like explosives, and destroyed everything we hit on the way down. Crow and Blackfire lighted the sky with light bolts and clouds of dark matter. Mammoth stood still no matter how much water Tempest flooded him with, and they made the ground shake, as their fight with raw power of nature filled most of the park. Multiple made to many copies/targets for Arsenal, but Arsenal just laughed and enjoyed the hardest target practice he could get.

Techno and Red Robin was the moving pair. Their fight made them move around in the park. Red Robin lead the way, but Techno's mechanical designs made him a match for Red Robins fighting skills. Streak flashed over and grabbed Overwatch and flashed away with him. I was the only one who noticed, but I wasn't worried. I trusted that Wally wouldn't hurt him, but find a safe place for Overwatch to stay.

As my teammates and enemies collided in battle, Red Raven and I just stared at each other.

Red Raven: "I have been looking forward to this very moment."
