Streaks pov

I flashed through the city, and felt the cold night air against my skin. Had I made a mistake? I let her go. I had never done that before... But she was different. There was something about her. I shook my head. She was a part of the FIVE. Red robin had told me about them. Heroes... Pathetic! The Tyrants owned the city, and they thought they could make a difference?

I reached the T-tower and stopped in front of the door. I stroke my stomach. I could still feel the hit from her pink power waves. She was strong, and this time I had the advantage, but from this point, she would know what I was capable of. Red Raven was going to kill me for this. She had some kind of plan for me, and the heist was suppose to be stealth and unnoticed. But that wasn't my style!

I clenched my fist around the necklace. It was the only thing I got from the heist, and it wasn't the target. Wonderful! But there was something about the necklace... Or was it her?... Just her?

The door opened and I hid the necklace and walked inside. I took the elevator to the top, and slowly walked into the living room. I only took one step inside, and then an arrow was shot right at me. Not that it was a problem, it wasn't even close. I caught it, broke it and threw it on the ground.

Arsenal: "He always has to break them."

Tempest: "Calm your bow Arsenal! You have thousands of them."

They were all there. Arsenal was standing in the kitchen aiming at me, Tempest was sitting at the table playing with the water in a glass, Blackfire was braiding her hair, and Red Raven was reading in the couch while she was lying between Red Robins legs. Red Robin was watching TV, but he turned it off and smiled.

Red Robin: "If it isn't the fastest mouth alive."

I leaned against the door. Lucky was spending her nights protecting the weak, and the Tyrants were playing and making jokes. Red Raven got up and walked towards me. She was never the one playing.

Red Raven: "You got it?"

I looked at tempest playing with the water.

S: "No."

She stopped, and so did everyone else. They all looked surprised, and I rolled my eyes. I walked down to the kitchen, and felt their eyes follow me.

S: "There were complications."

Red Raven: "What are you talking about?! It was a easy job!"

She was mad. Not my problem. Red Robin laid his hands on her shoulders, but she pushed him away.

S: "The FIVE were there."

Red Raven: "Dammit! Did they see you?"

I grabbed the glass Tempest was playing with, and I drank it while he grumbled something.

S: "Of course they did! They're not stupid."

Arsenal: "What's the matter Streak? Getting sloppy? Or maybe you're getting slower."

He shot six arrows, and I caught them all. My temper was slowly getting worse, but nobody should ever question my speed! I flashed over to Arsenal and pressed the arrowheads against his throat. A little more pressure, and they would pierce his skin and kill him. His smile disappeared and his eyes told me he was worried.

Red Raven: "Streak!"

I broke the arrows and threw them on the ground. I turned around, and just in time I saw Tempest forcing the water in another glass to fly towards me. I blocked with my arm and vibrated it so fast, that when the water hit my arm it evaporated. Tempest looked surprised, but of course he didn't know, that I had only become faster since the last time I was in Jump City. None of them knew.

I flashed over to Tempest and looked him in the eyes.

S: "You want to know, if I can heat up the water inside your body?"

Red Raven: "Streak!"

She was walking towards me, but I saved her the trouble and flashed over to her. She was surprised, but it was only her eyes that told me, the rest of her stayed cool. She was always cold.

Red Raven: "I wanted that item!"

I looked her right in the eyes.

S: "Then go fetch it yourself."

I turned around and walked towards the door.

Red Raven: "Streak! Don't you..."

I kept walking, and said with a provoking tone:

S: "Or make one of your "teammates" do it! They'll probably wag their tail and do it."

Then I left the tension, and walked toward my room. A sound behind me made me stop and turn around. It was Blackfire. I took a deep breath. I really didn't feel like picking up from where we left it, last time I was in Jump City. But the way she walked towards me, told me that she did.

Blackfire: "You didn't give me a chance to say: Welcome back."

She laid her hands on my chest and I grabbed her wrist.

S: "I wasn't going to."

She looked surprised and hurt.

Blackfire: "Streak... I thought..."

S: "Well I'm sorry, but you thought wrong."

She pulled her arms back, turned around and walked furious down the hall. I took a deep breath, but just as one leaves, another comes along. Red Robin was walking towards me, and he looked weird at Blackfire as she walked past him. I opened the door and left it open, and then I entered my old room. Robin followed me inside and closed the door.

Red Robin: "I knew, it would end like that between you two."

S: "I told her before I left, that it would be the end."

I threw myself on the bed and closed my eyes.

Red Robin: "Blackfire is a big girl. Raven will get over what happened in there, but for now you should keep your distance."

S: "Fine with me."

Red Robin: "You really are a terrible teamplayer."

S: "Maybe I haven't found the right team yet."

Silence. I opened my eyes to look at him. We all used to be good friends, but Red Robin and I had always been the best of friends.

S: "Dick, you know I didn't mean that."

Red Robin: "I know Wally. And I know why you hate to work as a team. You hate to be controlled, and have someone tell you what to do."

I got up and walked towards him.

S: "I'll swallow my pride. Tell Red Raven that I'm ready to go out again. I won't return empty handed again."

Red Robin patted me on the shoulder.

Red Robin: "I have no doubts about it."

I smiled and he left. I took a deep breath. Then I found the necklace and sat down on the bed. I stared at it for a while, and pictured the way she moved. Lucky? Somehow she was different.
